COD 4 Beta Thread

Last stand is awesome. There is nothing in this world that approaches shooting the guy who downed you in the balls while he steps over your corpse, and killing him for 20 points.
 
Pretty awesome so far but its kind of like Battlefield 2 for the PC. Also while its very fast and fluid its not really blowing me away. Anyone know if if the visuals have been downgraded for MP?

Hopped of Blue Dragon and thought I was done with my 360 for the night. Lo and behold, my email was waiting for me. Sent at 7:31 EST, by the way.

But first.....Blue Dragon. I just bought the damn thing so I'm obligated by the good people at Best Buy to play it for a few hours before jumping onto COD4.

For all of those who got in... Congrats but I have a question.

FPS for me are only good if the hitboxes are good.... does the game play more like a PC Rainbow six / Soldier of Fortune 2 or more like a Battlefield / Quake wars?

I hope it's the former.... A solid shooter like SOF2 would be so much fun.

The other CODs for PC were pretty solid but I wonder if they had to dumb it down for 360

Anyone?

Don't the exact sizes and what not but it seems like shooting air doesn't kill your opponents.

QFT. Playing Blue dragon instead? wtf. that's gonna be around a hell of a lot longer than this beta. and it's just annoying to the people desperately waiting heh. at least have the courtesy not to tell us.
 
I'm not the greatest FPS player ever, especially on Live, but I enjoyed the hell out of the Halo 3 beta.

This Beta?

Spawn > die > respawn > die > respawn > die > etc.

It sure is pretty though... at least for a couple of seconds it is.

Play Team Tactical. That's more my style, small matches with max of 6 players and no respawns.
 
I anticipate being the last to get an invite and then only having a chance to play one game before the demo (Whoops Beta) ends
My luck.
After all I am the guy with 11 RROD 360's.
Actualy that's a lie.
