One very important thing that I forgot to mention is that sprinting is an absolutely FANTASTIC new feature. It changes the way you move from point A to point B immensely, and more importantly it just FEELS right. On top of that, the feeling of sprinting is amazingly smooth; your view shakes a little but still feels right. When you sprint across an open area, slide into a crouch, and shoot some stupid sniper up in a building, you really feel like you've achieved something, as opposed to "just getting another kill." Plus it looks damn cool when you see someone actually do it.

I can't say this enough though guys, if you weren't included in this very early, very small first batch of invites, don't throw in the towel just yet. We will be pulling from this list a few times, but most importantly there's still the massive Beta Sign-up via Charlieoscardelta.com coming in the very near future.

This was just a very early, impromptu first wave batch since we felt Friends and Family was doing so well we could let a small group of public in early. So there are a lot more tokens going out there in the future through a variety of different mediums (the largest being Charlieoscardelta.com members) as well as ways for our international players to get involved.

It's great that you want in, and I (honestly) hope you get a key soon and can join in, but don't let your frustration lead you (or the others) to sounding bigoted. I think it's safe to assume that IW wants as many in as possible, and if there was a choice isn't content limiting it to one geographic domain.

edit: While I was playing this afternoon some girl was talking about what's in store for the beta. She was talking a guy from (infinity ward?) i forgot.


Anywho, the beta should last for a month and they expect to release more maps on the marketplace.

I wish that they let more people in. There is not very many people on for each playlist, so it takes somewhat of a while to join one.

Wrong. A token is now lost due to someone not following the rules and having lied about where he lived (or if he didn't he got lucky) That token belonged to someone who was eligible under the guidelines set forth by I.W.

Yea ok cause someone lied about where they're from and now render another token useless I should change my attitude. Get fucking real, could care less where anyone is from. They're fucking it up for those who are eligible.
