If you guys get in, you should level up quick so you can play the 3 vs 3 games. When you die, you don't respawn.

They played the beta for like 4 minutes on AOTS on G4 today. LOOKS pretty fun :(

catch a re-run at 8pm pst if you missed it and want to see
 
Yeah, I got one of those friends and family emails myself and have been playing since Saturday night.. Not sure why I got the FnF invite but I'm thankful for it nonetheless. :D

WTF? Dude.. i HAVE the beta, you dont need to level up to play 3v3 (or more) or respawn so dont come with lies here. You play with whoever you want since level 1, you go up that way.

I was talking about Team Objective.

(when I first got on, it was blacked out then you had to unlock it and the only time I did play it, we only had 6 players at the start)
 
I went to bed like three or four hours before the site opened and signups began, I figured they would have problems and seems like I was right.

So I didn't miss anything? The site has been down all this time?

Before we all go crazy on the gamertag collecting once a number of gaffers get in the beta (god willing), perhaps I could suggest we indicate preference for team or free for all once we do? I got left behind in the Halo 3 beta madness, cause I was only a rumble pit kinda guy and it was tough finding like minded players once the beta thread took off. So for whoever ends up listing them either in this thread or another, consider it?

Obviously I may be getting ahead of myself since I could easily not get in but hey, gotta try.
 
Is it even worth staying up for the next few hours checking the site or is it down till sometime tomorrow? I wish some IW guy would let us know.

Yea they're being pretty quiet. But who knows what's going on at their end.

Seriously, what's the deal with that gun? Same goes with the scorpion. I'm terrible with both of those, but I see people absolutely destroy with both of those on vacant and crash. I tend to just stick with the M4/M16.

I don't get the scorpion love either... I just get raped when I use it. Clips are so small, and I'm never in a position to actually use the thing effectively. I love how some of the people in the beta are already being annoying as hell. Is there an easy way to mute someone? I HATE playing with some of the idiots on XBL.

As I understand it, we're basically waiting on a 3rd-party. We've been told a time, and that time is very soon, but you know how it goes: as soon as we passed-on any promises, I'm sure that the whole damn hosting facility would catch fire, making us lying bastards (again).

And your other question, Quazar: One of the coders. I try to stay stealth on the boards, but didn't do so well with that today.
