Well the MOH demo wasnt bad. The Ai was pretty suspect, but I love the new direction they took the series. And KPunk is right. Theres NO WAY I'm dropping $60 for it. Oh and the skate. demo crushes all THPS games since THPS 2.

Anyway can you blame me??? I havent played COD4 myself, my judgement is impaired :p

I fully agree.

I like that new open leveldesign of MOH, but face it: the gameply-mechanics are prehistoric. Which means no MOH for me, thanks.

The skate demo is super awesome. Played it like 10 times now and it still feels fresh. day 1.

And just like you, I also haven't played COD4
yet.:D
got my copy of bioshock yesterday and can't decide which game I should play first. any suggestions?

You have to put your TAG and EMAIL when registering, but:

[] The email MUST BE the one that is linked to your tag
[] You can give the email address you prefer, it is just to let you have the ten

never said anything about putting the e-mail linked to your tag. I'd say it doesn't have to be the one linked

I live in Europe but I have a US account too (I use it for the demo, like with PS3...different accounts, different regions).
Was ayone the doesn't live in US able to register and get the token?

Com'on, the important thing for us Europeans, not to damage US players is not to host...

I'm I the only one that thinks (after beating the game) that Bioshock is a great game but it doesn't deserves all that "rain of 10s" it got?
In my opinion it is a game between 8.5 and 9.
 
I don't see how last stand is useful at all, I've yet to be killed or even hurt from someone using it and if anything, It just provides me with the opportunity to steal a teammates kill :lol. Typical scenario is me running into room, hearing a guy firing a pistol in the next (if he's not firing through my wall) I go in and hit him real quick, bam 10 points for me. If im the one killing the guy, they usually dont even get into the last stand. You can tell when they're going into the animation which doesnt really matter because if your firing from hip with an SMG, odds are they're not even gonna get a shot off anyway.

GAME IS SO AWESOME
 
Ive killed many people using last stand,trust me over time you will come across plenty of new players or blind crappy players who will be taken down from it.

But it's useless against good players. As was said the animation is the same and it's obvious someone is last standing. Once the novelty wears off it'll be clear that it's a pretty stupid and useless perk, especially given it's only useful (if you could call it that) after you're dead. Most of the other perks are useful at all times and I laff at anyone who uses Last Stand when I see them.

I disagree. I've killed manya people in Last Stand... It really just depends on the map. If it's an indoor corridor type map (such as the office) there's no WAY I'm playing that thing without last stand. Sometimes you just expect them to go down, you know? When they don't... The person who is taking their last stand can very easily get a kill, or even more than just one kill. It really can be a useful perk, but really GOOD players should know better. However, even good players screw up sometimes.

P.S. New MIA? AMAZING, eh?
 
But it's only useful when you're dead, where you can get one or two kills. Things like deep impact can help you get a lot more kills.

Ok, i have a problem.

I have my token and i've set up my US account online, ...but i live in Europe. Now the game requires a valid gold membership (which will mean an address check on my card) so will i still get one month free for registering a new account or am i shit out of luck?

It could be that i have a token i'm forced to give away :(

I'm hoping that the email that you enter doesn't have to be the one my Gamertag is tied to, since I used a different email to register to the site and used that one instead...

And still no beta invite... I'll check back later...

Well, most of the people playing live in the states and it's still early here. Plus a lot of us work during the day.
 
Played it today, and although I got my ass kicked hard, I really enjoyed it. The perk system is good and reminds me of wolfenstein : ET. I regret that there is no medic class, but maybe I'm not advanced enough to have seen one.
The graphics are good, well, can't say anything more as I was focused on not getting my ass kicked too hard.

I found that the perk system can be a little unfair, as a level 1-5, who is a noob anyway, has no chance at all against a level 10+, and he had slim chances to begin with. I think that this is a problem induced by the low number of players, which creates uneven battlefields with players at very diffrent levels (there were around one thousand players while I was playing).

I didn't get the "wow, I'm good afterall" moments that I had during the Halo 3 Beta, which set matches of players of my skill level.

Got into a good 12 man game, had a bit of lag but overall I did well for myself, in the top half of the table for every team I was on.

This game feels great at the moment, the 60fps is really noticable as everything feels extremely smooth. The controls are great, graphics look fantastic and the game engine has a really solid feel to it.

Having a great time with this!

Give it some more time. I got the email a few hours ago and I had to wait about two days before I got it.
