You can cook grenades in COD4? Awesome. That was one of the things, I have to admit, that COD3 added that I sorely missed in COD2. I can't wait to blow some faces off with the fuckers. :D

Good games, we had a a nice little win streak going for awhile. Joates is doing a hell of job as field commander.

I really do try my best, sometimes my emotions do run high and get the best of me though ;)

However I like to think I keep team moral high.
 
Nope I don't use a mic either. The last thing I need to break the illusion of being in a team of bad ass spec-ops warriors is some 10 year old's voice crackling over my headset :/

Uh. play with friends? You really need a mic in this game to communicate where the enemies are. Even with the killcam.
 
First round I ever played I started off with a 6 person killing streak at a bunch of rank 11's

First thing I thought: Hey that was fun.

Count me in as one of the unlucky. I even signed up right after the site was resurrected. Seeing how most everyone else got it makes me a little jealous, sometimes I don't know why I keep coming back to this thread. But thankfully it seems that everyone who did get in is having a blast, so I will just wait patiently to join the fun.

Besides a few problems with connecting, does anyone have anything bad to say about this demo?
 
so the edit your appearance option will be in the final build, or is it only skins and equipment for your weapon? i hpe you can customize your camo, helmet and other things.

I had this also and did the restart and it still came up. Fired up some Rune Factory DS while laying on the couch and it eventually disappeared(10 - 15 minitutes).

Got some chopper kills but my air strike got no one. C4 the mess outta some folk. Hard to camp even without killcam because most rooms have to entrances/exits.

Need a invincible spawn time cause I got airstriked twice as soon as I spawned.

Lotta "Aww WTF" & "Come ons"

Also gotta get use to the buttong config. I wanna hit a button to melee and also to sprint not push in the thumb stick.

Flash bang & stun grenades are awesome. Can't wait to level up and get tripwires.

I took a brief look over at CharlieOscarDelta.com, but I couldn't find any info on the "game settings" issue. I guess they're still working on it and your best bet at the moment is to restart your 360 if you're having problems.

Also, it looks like they added a couple new forums for feedback, (one for maps, one for perks, etc...) so everyone should stop by and sound off if you're finding bugs or have any feedback on the beta.

I had the same problem, but after quitting and restarting it, all was fine.
 
Well....... still not in. For anyone else that isn't in, hopefully your pain can be eased knowing others are in your same boat. To be fair to IW, it still hasn't been 72 hours since the 24 hour registration closed. The charlieoscardelta forum avatar says I'm in, but of course, I remain skeptical.

Glad to hear people are liking it though.
 
the beta plays awesome, but it doesn't look as good as i was expecting. The colors are too muted. Still, this is an awesome, awesome multiplayer game.

I haven't seen an announcement on this yet. Considering that they haven't officially rolled out the beta internationally, I'd figure we have at least a few weeks left. Just guesswork on my part, though.
 
Just checked my gmail...I got my invite 3 hours ago :)

Going home I've got a lot of decisions: Bioshock, Warhawk and now this. I'm probably making a mistake, but I dont think I can justify buying Corruption now.

Ahh thanks, did you or anyone ever crash while joining a game? I'm scared for my xbox 360 :(

But shit awesome MP ever!!! Shame my ping's horrible, but it still feels sort of smooth

edit: On the other hand, I've received emails Congratulating me for several other things while waiting for this token such as...I've been approved for 5 different credit cards, legions hot women wanting to date me, and I'm August's number one shopper(wtf??).

Quit out to dashboard and or restart your console and get back in.
 
I played a few games with MercuryLS last night. What a great, great multiplayer game. I wasn't originally going to pick this up at launch, but the beta sold me. Bravo, IW.

Thanks for that. Seems that I'm in -- I'm just going to be one of the last people to get one.
 
Definitely enjoying the beta thus far.. As pointed out earlier though, that automatic sniper rifle is too powerful. I suck at this game, and I just randomly picked one up off the ground, next thing I knew I had a seven kill streak. Seemed a bit too easy. Other than that, all is good..
