Watch the next-gen version be Xbox/PC only. It wouldn't be a hard sell to investors if they consider the PS6 install base will basically be zero at that point plus the fact that they're gonna wanna sell as many next-gen Xbox units at launch as they can.
It means despite the hopium here, MS is launching a new Xbox next year with COD: MW4.

Assuming PS6 doesn't release until 2027 or later, then the only option would be for a next-gen version of Cod 2026 to be Xbox/PC only. Assuming they don't release a PS6 version years later.

If there's a notable year or more gap between the next perceived Xbox and PS console, then by default it will be a next-gen exclusive for that duration, it's not really a "They can't" matter.

2027 seems a bit early for ps6 considering PRO should be mid gen but it's all weird now.

If your MS and you're launching your next console against PS6 and you have the ability to make COD a next-gen exclusive you are absolutely 100% going to play that card. Now, if you're thinking Sony is going to go complain to regulators how exactly are they going to argue their case when they already have 80% of the market to themselves.
