If you're a highly critical player, I'd say it should definitely be 360. The graphics edge has always been in that direction, and in my experience the netcode is always a little tighter as well.


I'm not sure how all this clan stuff works. I'm just mainly a Team Deathmatch guy, and I suspect I'll also play some Kill Confirmed and occasionally domination. If you're down with that send me an XBL invite. My gamertag is in my profile.

Well apparently I can't make an Elite account until I play a match of MW3.

So I assume my Elite name will still be the same but I don't know how this works. I didn't buy Black Ops.

Updated with everyone on the lists so far (I think).

Elite is still messed up so no one can officially create a clan yet. Just roll with GAF as a clan tag for now and find us on your platform so we can chew up some pubs as a team ;)

Just picked up the game and will probably be on around 9:00pm EST.

I never really got into Black Ops or the rest of the CoD games... None of them ever felt right to me, even back in the PC only days. So this is me giving it one last shot. But if I like it I'd like to join the GAF clan. I'll let you know lol.

Just get it on 360 and avoid having to worry about it being another Black Ops situation. On that note, is the PS3 version another Black Ops?

From the screenshot comparison at Lens of Truth, and people's impressions in other threads, it seems like sort of. Graphics are clearly muddy compared to the 360 version, but the framerate sounds solid. At least in MP.

To all the folks who sent me game invites yesterday, sorry, I was playing with a big group of folks from work!

Secondly, I hate sniper rifle no scopes. It's just broken. Played with a guy last night that was just running around the entire match, no scoping as if he was carrying around an assault rifle. If I can't hip fire and kill someone from 5 feet using an assault rifle, a sniper shouldn't be able to do just that by only using no-scopes. Sorry for the rant, but I'd love to see a little more balance when it comes to that.

Yeah sorry for not accepting invites last night either. I haven't played a COD game since MW2 and I wanted to get some time alone to get reacquainted with the controls and flow of the game. Glad I did because I completely suck now lol.

Wow, Elite STILL down?

I still haven't even been able to create an account yet. This is nuts. Hopefully it is working by this weekend so the clans can be officially created. Played some games with randoms before and it's hit or miss.

FYI : You do NOT need Elite to be a member of any clan.

Some parts of elite are working, but the "Connect" section isn't. That's the part we need to work to set up the clan.
