You were right, the comments on that post aren't very friendly now. I really respect Ryan, he has made several statements that he probably knew wouldn't be popular among his followers. Mainly the "talked to several devs, scalability is more complex when talking crossgen" and openly criticized lack of first party lineup on Xbox behalf.

Nah, Ryan is an exception, not the rule. He's one of the few IGN folks that are still on good terms with Colin, along with Peer and Daemon. Most of the other IGN staff are super woke and super hostile towards Colin. When IGN celebrated Podcast Beyond 600, a podcast that Colin helped built, he wasn't invited (while everyone else ever associated with that podcast were) and his name wasn't even mentioned.
I got back into gaming in October after a 4 or 5 year absence. I wanted hear Colin and Greg's voices again for nostalgia sake but Twitter told me that Colin was basically evil and not listen to him . So I listened to KF . It didn't take me long realize narrative was wrong and that KF fake ass fucks especially shiller. I'm now a last stand media Patreon & Iv found the discord to be the least toxic , most helpful & nicest community Iv been in . Amazing what conclusions you come to on your own.
