He has always been a terrible game day head coach. Badgers constantly choke close games away with him as head coach. To give him a little credit, he actually is a decent recruiter. He's a better version of Ron Zook, which doesn't mean much.

Also, Barry had to step in and fix his staff problems this season.

I'm kind of indifferent about Strong if true. Undoubtedly a better hire than Dooley and has the potential to do some good things but Louisville never really seemed that impressive. Strong certainly wasn't as "angry" as last week at suggestions he may or may not be at UL next season. Said basically that will be addressed "at the right time." So that is definitely a change of tone at the very least.

I guess I should have said Auburn would turnaround quickly in regards to being a difficult opponent for Arkansas, which also will be in rebuilding mode, sooner than later. I'm thinking a steady improvement from this year in about 2-3 years. First get bowl eligible, i.e. 0.500, next year or the year after and then improve on that. Obviously LSU, Bama, and A&M will be at the top of the SEC West but I would expect Auburn has to have somewhat of a turn around from this year and beat at least 1 SEC team (it can't get worse can it?).

Well that certainly helped out one of my junk weeks. I think I was averaging around 12 points a week once I started. The most amusing part about this is I had Nebraska by 4 and expected that to be the closest game of them all.

Thanks again to everyone who participated and enjoyed the Pick'em again this year. It can be a bit of work but the fact that you guys seem to enjoy it makes me happy to do it.
