Best team throughout the 00s? Ohio state? USC? Texas?

Something I read from Schlabach, about BYU/Utah:
So Close to historical lulz. What would have happened? BYU refuse to kick? I imagine the refs would call delay of games non stop till Monday, leaving BYU at their own 0.00000001 yard line.
Or they play, and all of BYU's players get kicked out of school for violation of Mormon Laws of Lawly Law-Laws.
Easily USC. Probably between OSU and OU for 2nd and Texas is 4th.
I would say USC then you could argue Ohio State/Texas/Florida anywhere for the next 3 spots.
We are still tied for the most BCS wins, and thats with one even vacated. So we really have the most, but technically not.I'd lean towards LSU.
Ohio State had the peak season with the controverisal BCS over Miami, and was solid throughout, but like OU, became a sort of "joke" team, with all it's BCS losses (mostly to SEC teams)
The problem with Florida is the Zook years.
The downside for LSU though, was that they had too many years where they were only above average.I'd lean towards LSU.

USC looked like a sure lock for team of the 00's in the midst of Leinhart and Bush. That was thoroughly destroyed by Paul Dee's.
Texas had the best BCS Championship win, and was solid, but was kind of invisible, and had trouble getting past OU.
LSU got rolling with Saban early, won a championship, and Miles carried on with that success and won another championship (somehow, with one of his weakest teams).
Florida could get recognition, but it was in a 4 year period. Started off average and didn't pick up steam till 2006 and Tebow.
Hoping Alabama carries on for another 4-5 years like it is, though it's like Miami back in 99/00, straddling the decades.
nah, it's still LSU

Shit, they were only above average the year they won the MNC with Miles. 2007 was an insane year.

Depends on the actual timeframe of the decade. Is it 2000-2009 or 2001-2010?
For last decade I'm looking at 2000-2009. This decade would count as 2011-2020.

Like they say, it's an ongoing investigation.
:jncConvention suggests the former, logic the latter.
Poor 2010. No one wants you.
2010 was a lockout year IIRC
Team of the 80s, surely? Or would that be Miami?
You know what, fuck it.
Team of the 80s: Notre Dame
Team of the 90s: Notre Dame
Team of the 00s: Notre Dame
Team of the 10s: Bama. Nah, just kidding, Notre Dame
Always remembered that the turn of the century didn't come till New Years day 2001, not 2000. But who cares. For last decade I'm looking at 2000-2009. This decade would count as 2011-2020.
80's was Miami, 90's is Nebraska. 70's is Alabama, 60's is....I've heard Nebraska, but shit mayne, 1960's mayne.Team of the 80s, surely? Or would that be Miami?

I'm so ready for Clemson. I think that defense is mighty suspect and I think they're very thin on the offensive line. Our defense should have a field day pressuring Boyd, which should help to negate Watkins.
Nope, FSU was more consistent over that span. Top 4 every year.

Consistent at what, being 2nd? Losing to Florida? That's not a bad thing, that happened to Alabama most of the 90's too.

From 2000-2009 Texas was ranked every time with 7 top 10 finishes and 5 top 5 finishes going by the AP poll.
then who was FSU losing too for all those 1 loss seasons?
And Nebraska had 3 #1 finishes, only communists believed in Charles Woodson's Commivines.
There was no Year Zero (that's what I was trying to remember). 1-10, 11-20, 2001-2010.

The Canes. Wide right, wide right, wide left, etc.... I think UM had more success against the Noles than my Gators did. PEACE.

There was no year 2010 either. It didn't exist. I don't know what happened to the year 2010. Which is why I'm saying there was no college football played that year. Hell I don't even think there was a conclusion to the 2009 football season, since the MNC occurs in the next calender year.

Meaning what?
From 2003 to 2010 we were certainly inferior to them. But since the 80s, overall, FSU and UF are quite equal. FSU has had slightly more consistent performances in the off years, but more of them, and most of that can be attributed to being in the ACC. If we were in the SEC, our Bowl streak would almost certainly not still be intact.
Miami couldn't even be said to be the "little brother" of either of the other Florida schools even though they are at a very low point right now.
FSU doesn't have quite as long a history of success as UF, but we have been relevant nationally since the 80s, and were arguably the best team of the 90s as a whole.

They were, but like boosh said that ranking was partly a product of being in the ACC. Florida in the 90s was a pretty solid team every year. We beat teams early on in the 90s that we shouldn't have, then cranked out 10 win seasons in the SEC every year.
Still though, I would put FSU up there for the latter half of the 90s. I don't think any team has dominated a decade since the 60s.
So, on my home from an Irish wake. I decide to drop by and pick up Borderlands 2. Holy shit this is a motley, somewhat depressing collection of individuals.
Some nerd is parading around their ass ugly Asian gitlfriemd around like they are proud of her. But she and I share that look where we both know she landed the weeaboo lottery.
Jalf the people here look like Steve Bartman.
I thinl some people dressed up for this.
But I'm here reeking of whiskey, parliament lights and stupidly wearing a jiu jitsu t shirt looking like some wayward bto with faulty inner gps.

OP updated with the new Heisman Watch rankings.
Did you just try to drink an Irishman under the table? You may have succeeded!
I thought bluemax was going to eventually copy and paste your work into the OP but he hasn't yet. :/
