Weis also saved 3 timeouts in that last drive. Even though Mack Brown uses his after the playclock runs out, at least he uses them
KU wasn't going to run the length of the field in under a minute anyways. KU should have taken more time on their go ahead fg drive. That easily could have been done, hence why KU gave that game away.

Saragin Top 10

1. Kansas State
2. Notre Dame
3. Florida
4. LSU
5. Oklahoma
6. Georgia
7. Alabama
8. Oregon
9. South Carolina
10. Texas Tech

Interesting. I'd have expected Oregon to take the biggest hit from dropping MoV, but it's actually Bama. 1st to 7th, damn.

I'm just perplexed about the Big XII's computer love. They've beaten absolutely no one outside of their conference. Best win is either over Tulsa or a 4-4 Miami team.

6 of 8 teams we've played are currently ranked. One of the two that isn't is 1-AA. To come out of that stretch 4-4 is pretty good, I think. Last 4 are all winnable games, might still be able to hit the 8-4 mark that most people wanted.

KSU-ND MNC Game incoming.

As a K-State fan i would want to play ND over Oregon or Alabama but not sure where those two would get their losses to make that happen.

It's still bugging me OU couldnt beat ND last night. Hopefully things will break K-States way this year but I'm not counting on it

I forgot about them. *checks Sagarin*

Sweet Lord Jesus, that's gotta hurt. 8-0 and ranked #50.

They get a big boost from the MoV drop, though, and move up to #25. (not even trolling here, Lolsville fans, take a look)

Kinda glad MoV isn't in the BCS formula: I don't think I could take the "overrated" chants directed at a #7 A&M (which I'd secretly be agreeing with).

50th!? Okay, that just sucks.

Oregon or somebody should contact Mark Cuban to arrange a 4-game playoff this that all 4 programs sign off on if they each go undefeated (4 programs being Alabama, Oregon, KSU, and Louisville).

Cuban is a businessman. No way in hell he leaves out ND for UL, unless you're implying they'll lose still.

just to fuck with the snobbish Euro's shitting up the Lattimore thread with their bullshit arguments of "football vs. soccer."

I think some people fail to realize just how close a down BYU team was to beating ND.

I apologize to everyone on behalf of my team.

As Americans, we fucked with the Euro plenty between '42 and '45. Brush that dirt off your shoulders.

When do the BCS rankings get announced?

We've got 2/3rd's+ of the formula. All that there is to know is how the computer rankings sorted out...

Here's a guesstimate at the computer rankings and what that would mean for the BCS Rankings... If Oregon were to be 5th in the computers, they'd slip to 4th behind Notre Dame by .0011 points...

Any chance LSU jumps Oregon next week if they beat 'bama in the BCS rankings?

Nope. They'll jump them in the computers, but no way the pollsters put them any higher than 4th...

Looking at this, KSU and ND have nowhere else to go in their computer rankings, while Oregon clearly does... They matchup with USC, Stanford, & Oregon State won't be as good as we thought as late as yesterday, but looking at the gap with the other guys in terms of points, it looks pretty clear to me that if Oregon can maintain their leads in the human polls, that they will move up to the top 2 of the BCS...

But... If Alabama loses it will throw the polls in a HUGE mess. Alabama is essentially COMPLETELY UNANIMOUS as #1 and if they were to lose, who knows how that would cause pollsters to reevaluate Oregon/KSU/ND to determine how they want to rank them... You'd think they would just vote how they have been but just slide them up, but I do think Alabama losing would cause them all to completely rethink...

Som' bitches should still be saying thanks for that, too, if you ask my opinion.

Honestly if we didn't have American football.

The US would be doing alot better at soccer.

And here's what happens if ND does jump KSU to #1 in the computers, which looking a bit closer, I do think will happen. That would push Oregon to #4 in the BCS...

So there's a chance that Alabama, KSU, ND, and Oregon wins out, right? As it stands, #3 KSU's bounced

OMG DALLAS

Those seem to be predicated on Florida losing to FSU. Hopefully we can pull it off. Hopefully Georgia chokes hard either way.

I like our chances against you with how hapless your offense seems to be. As long as JWJ stays healthy, I think we can manage enough yards on the ground to outscore you. Our offense can be terrible sometimes (just see NCState), but I think our receiver crew is a little better than yours, qb has more experience, and our running game is much better.
