After the so called promotion that went through and the cable installer supposedly coming in today. I waited for five hours and got nothing.

I checked the email and it turns out that they cancelled my promotion and then instead of telling me immediately, they wait almost a fucking week to tell me. Then they have the nerve to tell me that it was my telephone number that was wrong when in a previous call with them, I updated it there on the spot.

My ass is chapped with RAGE.

You know it's a regional thing. When I lived in Colorado is was a great service. In other areas, not so much. Since my current MD 'hood is hooked up with Fios they get REAL competitive. I got NO contract, 300 dollars in credit, 50 mbps, TV (HBO and Starz included for life), and phone for 89 bucks. That works to right under a hundred bucks a month after taxes.

And someone tell me why it takes like two clicks to subscribe to a new service (like Showtime or Cinemax) but you have to call, wait on hold, and do a stupid verification dance to cancel??

And WTF at the problems of the X1 Platform. Technician you call to resolve don't even know how to fix them (as it's for new subscribers only). They had to replace the whole box after a week.

They've stood me up multiple times. I deal with them for my company. I have nothing good to say about them. The account is owned by my boss, so his name is on the account. Comcast has THREE different customer service lines. One will speak to me. The others won't because I'm not on the account. Had to start impersonating the name on the account. I can provide all info for the account as well, but I tell them a different name and they shut me out. It's really obnoxious.

Ya. Comcast has a special place in Hell for their lack of devices they support for HBOGO. Thank God they added Samsung Smart Tv's recently. Still no Roku.

I remember someone from comcast cut our internet line by mistake since it was my neighbors line that was getting cut, the reason was they stopped paying so i had to wait 4 days for someone from comcast to come and fix the problem

my neighbor had internet those 4 days lol
