I suggest you go back to reading the first 5 pages of this thread thoroughly. You will know why he emphasize on the SDK, why he is talking about the delay in some countries.
And a Kinectless SKU isn't FUD, unless you're one of those people that need something "unique" with your console.

He does not work for Microsoft because he has also shown knowledge of competing company's products. I think he works for a third party company. If he does work for Microsoft then he has amazing contacts. Well, a Kinectless SKU for $350/$299 is actually quite possible. The Kinect costs almost as much as the One to make. If they offer a Kinectless version, many consumers would buy it as it is the cheaper option. I doubt MS isn't very profitable. I'm pretty sure Sony had a huge loss a while back, so I doubt they could afford to lower the price by that much, considering that it's more powerful than the One.
If he got all this information like the Xbox 360 specs and all this Xbox one information he has to be high up at Microsoft. I would imagine he wouldn't be trying to sabotage his own product. Its common sense.

Have you seen some of the God of War, Gears, TLoU, and Killzone gifs that get thrown around all the time on GAF? That gif is tame compared to those.
So people consider this negative for the xbox? How? They're going with a kinectless SKU which will close the price gap, and they're securing exclusives. Sounds like a final return for microsoft besides the yield issues. They dissolved the 1st party studio, but studios close left and right in the industry now.
He's been a member of this forum since 2004. Either MS really sucks at figuring out who he is, or he's really good at hiding.
Yeah. Dropping Kinect would be a major blow to a lot of their plans. I have to imagine that any current whispers of such a SKU are contingency plans in case this holiday season really gives them signs of a bad future. That would be a very desperate move that they couldn't make lightly.

If we truly lost anything, MS did a horrible job communicating that. My feelings on the whole DRM/family share fiasco can be summed up very nicely in this image.
We don't know what it was, but it came with way too much baggage and restrictions. If they had come out and said you're getting this benefit, this benefit, and this, without any catches, we wouldn't be in this same situation right now. I'm not willing to throw away some of my consumer freedoms, just for the possibilities that we might get something nice out of it, maybe. Maybe next time they'll get it right. There's no indication that whatever beneficial policies were planned are gone for good. And if they are gone for good, MS was never serious about pleasing the consumer from the get go. My two cents.

I just think its interesting how he doesn't leak any good things about it. Its just yeild issues and SDK issues. Then that all leads to wild speculation. Like the GPU downclock. (we all know how that turned out now) Of course everyone hates the Xbox one so they are more inclined to believe all this
Kinect 2 is around $100. The xbone cost the same as the ps4 thanks to the complicated hardware architecture they are using on it ( 5 MILLION TRANSISTORSSSSS!)

Has there been any good news about it? It's all been negative since the PS4 reveal.
He's only been wrong once ever, that was on Prince of Persia, which he apologised for. Not sure if it was pulled or he confused the sands and cape for PoP. The other half error was Mirrors Edge (before it was ever announced) which he said would debut at the Microsoft presser but instead debuted at the EA one. That one isn't really a mistake per say, probably just a last minute switch up.
Only time I can recall was prince of Persia. He was almost wrong about dead rising 3 but months later he commented and say to be patient about it and that it was coming.
Edit: And mirrors edge. But he was right about it showing up at e3 just wrong about what conference it would be at.

If we lost something it's because MS took their ball and went home after the 180.
And whatever we lost (if anything) can't possible be worth the price of giving up consumer rights, ownership of games, offline functionality etc. I don't care what they come up with , nothing gaming related could be worth that, not even half life 3.
