Comics GAF, do y'all remember the New Muties/ Legacy crossover Age of X by Mike Carey? That was my shit. I ordered the hardcover recently and I'm loving it. Clay Mann's redesigns = sex. Dazzler has never looked better, and tbh, probably never will. If you have not read this, do it now.

Cyclops(or whatever his name is, basilisk?) Was the best design from this mini.

Nice! I used to be really into X-Men a couple of years ago, but stopped hardcore collecting after the Onslaught arc. I've got all the Death of Superman/the very awesome Reign of the Supermen, but then I jumped to Image stuff (Wildcat/Gen13/DV8) and kind of stopped collecting. Robin/Batman stuff is a rare treat and I do have the odd off issue of The Walking Dead and DMZ, but, man, it's been awhile.

So can I take it that you've read the entire Red Robin arc? What did you think? And, any recommendations? I'm rekindling the hobby a bit as long as it sticks within my budget.

I'm a DC guy so I have to say Scott Snyder's run on Batman and his run on Detective Comics before the reboot. Just buy the Black Mirror trade.

Going to have to wait for New York Comic Con. I'm pretty sure Dan Slott will remain on whatever the new title is.

I like Dazzler now on X-Treme X-Men, the stories are kind of meh, but I like how she always end up singing somehow. It moves her away from that role of chasing mundane popstar fame and put her on the unique role of being a multiverse popstar (not famous because word of mouth don't travel between universes).
