What on earth is the context on that last one?
Scott Snyder's comics have featured tons of violence done to horses.
I honestly didn't enjoy most of Waid's run. There were some good one-off issues (like the field trip in the snow) but so much of it felt like a "Mark Waid" story. It zigged when you thought it would zig and zagged when you thought it would zag. He wrote the character extremely well and Samnee/Rivera's art was the highlight but it was also fairly derivative if you've ever read a Mark Waid run on a comic.

OH shit lol they have the BPRD thing up already. It doesn't appear to have any spoilers, just the July solicit for now, but I imagine they'll have an interview soon. I won't put it in here anyway, but I will share this incredible Mignola variant for the issue. Allie is the scripter.

Of those I'd really only say I feel enthusiastic about TEC and WW, with Batman as a interesting, but six issues is not enough to judge on, so open ended, main plot things still veiled in mystery etc. Nightwing and Superman were just there.
Haha I reckon Tim might end up seeing it anyway but I feared showing the Fegredo cover for spoilers? of a sort. But it is really good. And July is soon! I spotted an advanced review for the upcoming HB ogn that was super positive today btw that's out in a few weeks!

Jem is taking a break but has a mini event with the Misfits who have their own book. Jwm is getting a fall relaunch to be more connected to the main Hasbroverse.

X-23 (2005) was superb. Well written and that Billy Tan artwork...damn.

Glad you enjoyed it. Priest's run was my real first exposure to BP. Really loved that run and made me appreciate the character

Yeah but eventually all of those except for Batman will convert back to monthly. Cyborg and Deathstroke (*cries*) have already suffered.

Read Tokyo Ghost vol 2. Pretty much the same strengths and weaknesses of vol 1. Well conceived world visually, a great action book. It has some interesting ideas about society, addiction, and codependence, even if it never goes further than skin deep with them. Remender just revels in how depraved most of the characters are. I wouldn't mind seeing more of the world, particularly the lore they hint at in the first vol. I loved the Bengal and Nguyen variants at the back too. It's always fun to imagine what the book could have looked like under different artists.
Also read Sex Criminals vol 1. I definitely appreciate the book for what it is. I thought it was well written and main characters are quite likable. I'm not sure I would go further with the book right now, I didn't get the sense at the end that the book is quite worth tuning into regularly but it's something I could see chasing up when it's done and reading all the trades over a week and enjoying it that way.

No I wasn't really thinking about them doing it. Just that all these lesser Skybound titles are already on TV or are being made so eventually someone will come for the King of all comics.

Tbh, the attrition rate is better than I expected. We're closing in on a year and still only 2 titles down.
TV show would work better. Put it on HBO, give it a generous budget. Alien dicks for everyone!

Haven't read more than a few 5 or 6 issues in each of those, though. Just wanted to read the first arcs. Also haven't read any of Superman because I really want it to all be fresh with the OHC.
But honestly, I'm getting every single Rebirth Deluxe OHC besides Justice League.

Might have to start picking them up since DC has shown no intrest in doing Omnis anymore. Randomly they are doing on for Tom Kings Grayson series though lol. Didnt think that was very good?
I've heard middling things but at least it's not just outright terrible like JL for the most part has been.
