Thanks to the JSA omnibuses, Johns' JSA which is like 1999-2009?Whats the longest, complete collection of a long running Comicbook series where you own every book without an missing issue?/how many years does it consist of?
Could I have input on some of Guy Delisle's stuff?
Pyongyang, Jerusalem, Burma Chronicles, and Shenzhen are the ones I'd like to hear opinions on.
Ugh. I wish I could just borrow these from the library like I used to always do

Metal that good?
oh never mind dc already spoiled it
lmfao
I'm ignoring EVERYTHING!
Anyone else disapointed that due to the Terrifics , Mr. Terrific won't be apart of the JSA relaunch. I feel out of non legacy Members Michael, Stargirl, Power Girl, and Jakeem are essential to the team.
No.Are they relaunching JSA?
Are they relaunching JSA?
Yes but they don't have books. Everyone is just saying that they are going to get books.Weren't there strong hints in the rebirth issue and then someting after that I read (possibly the button?) where it had JSA characters

Ah! I was wondering when that got announced.

They'll probably have Terry Sloane in the JSA and as many of the other original members as make sense with continuity.
I forgot Nick Fury was a book. And Occupy? These are still around?I mean, the big two under 20K cutoff list is: Gwenpool, Batgirl and the Birds of Prey, Hulk, Black Bolt, Royals, Doom Patrol, Captain Falcon, Hellblazer, Ultimates 2, Ice Man, Captain Marvel, Superwoman, U.S. Avengers, Spider-Man 2099, Secret Warriors, Luke Cage, Rocket, Black Panther Crew, New Superman, Blue Beetle, Bombshells, America, Nick Fury, Ocupy Avengers, Monsters Unleashed, Mother Panic, Shade The Changing Girl, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, Gotham Academy Second Semester.
Is anyone really surprised at that list? Captain America Sam Wilson is maybe in my "huh, that's interesting" list, but the rest is pretty much expected.
Don't do itMy 10 year old cousin is trying to stir some Marvel vs DC shit with me by sayin' Marvel wouldn't have any good characters if they didn't copy DC.
Nah, breh. I like both but I'm preparing a thesis on how wrong he is right now. LOL
Someone who agrees with me.Today's my birthday. I'm 29 and slowly creeping to old man age, but I feel I'm in my shitposting prime.
Anyway, read some books. Mostly rereads specifically Morrison X-Men. Assault on Weapon Plus, Planet X and Here Comes Tomorrow. They're definitely the weaker part of the Morrison run even with some rad Silvestri art at the tail end of it. Nothing beats Riot at Xavier's imo
A big part of JSA is legacy, so hopefully it'll be a blend of young and old.I'm curious will they be younger or older when they come back. I'm not really interested in young JSA. Then being the elder statesmen of the DCU has always been the appeal to me.
They had a Spider-Man Crossover in the late 90s/early 2000 where Peter was suddently deaged. The Power Pack one has to be wrong, right? There seriously hasn't been even a one-shot since the mid-late 80s?

So guess that new Batman and Harley Quinn movie is out, and sounds like it isn't good heh.
!
Well it does have Harley in it.
Ive seen the reactions online about, Oh, my God, here we go, another Superman origin, and its not really the origin retelling, Romita said Friday following DC Comics Metal panel. Its after the origin, its after he lands, what happens between the time he lands and the time he realizes what he is. And this slight slant on the development of Superman is that hes really unconscious that hes an alien til his parents tell him that hes an alien. In the meantime, he just thinks hes special. And he doesnt appear in costume until the very end. Its similar to the Daredevil: Man Without Fear back in the 90s, and its the period of time up until he puts the costume on for the first time.
And Frank has this twisted imagination about what should happen, and we talked about it, and [Franks] eyes glow, he continued. He said hes wanted to do this as long as he can remember, since, when did Batman: Year One come out? Was that 30 years ago? He said he always wanted to complete the cycle and do a Superman: Year One. Well, he finally got the chance to do it, and of course its a hundred pages and theres a million people in it.
Romita later elaborated on the planned page count, saying that when it comes to working with Miller, theres likely going to be room for interpretation.
Its gonna be a hundred pages. I dont know if its gonna be 92, or 100, I dont know, he said. But knowing Frank, it could be 200 pages. I look forward to that more than anything, and Im hoping it can turn out as good as I can see it in my head.
"Twisted imagination," huh?
Don't do it

He's only ten. He's too dumb to have a real opinion. We all were at ten.
