This so much. They really dropped the ball with those first few issues but thankfully it's been getting better and crazier with each new issue. I can't imagine what Remender is going to do after it's all take care of.

This week, I just got Hawkeye and The Wake.
I really wonder if I should hunt down Ms Marvel. All I know is that it's good. Beyond that, nothing. Someone give me a quick review as to why it's so great? I'm not much of a superhero guy.

They'll do it. No doubt. I'm actually a bit surprised they haven't started yet, but they do have the requisite two TPBs out. So we'll probably see the first one this year. Though they seem to be moving toward the hardcovers without dust-jackets. Which is what I prefer, but I think Invincible is in the minority, there.

Zero and FBP? Have fun, dude--those are two of the best books coming out right now. Also, I was thinking of picking up Daredevil OHC 2, since I have the first, but reading through the first, the paper quality is offensive. Panels bleed through and it feels thin-sliced recycled shit.

I find it incredibly hard to drop books. I read for certain characters and I am forever an optimist. I feel like every month this will be Catwomans month. It only happened once. Zero Year by layman.
Kamala's a pretty charming character in a teenage self-discovery kind of way. Her religious identity is part of her and her family and that in it of itself is interesting to see done in a comic, period. All the characters are pretty likeable on their own, even the one we shouldn't like. Art is fantastic.
The story IS just getting started however, so it's a lot of typical origin story stuff for 70% of it. But it's worth checking out, in my opinion.

really? i didn't think a whole heck of a lot really happened this issue. lots of buildup, but no real payoffs.
The solicit for next issue has my interest though- looks like spiderman 2099 inexplicably shows up again, after the city has been going to hell for god knows how long now.
One of the best things they do. Stellar feeling books. Nice heft to them.

It was a really good issue from back to back.
Now the sign language issue makes a bit more sense and less gimmicky.

I was tempted to pick this up because I love the FF and my life feels better when there is a good FF book to buy. I had such hopes. Such...hopes.
And Abnett writing a Rocket novel? Yes please. I have never played a Warhammer game but Abnett's Warhammer novels are the bees' knees.
