I'll say this about F4: I felt an overwhelming sense of dread as I realized Robinson could write good fun Fantastic Four stories but has decided not to in order to spite suckers like me.

It's a shame because when he tries Robinson is right up there with the best including people like Gaiman. His Starman run is the stuff of legends and The Golden Age is better than Watchmen in my opinion.

Holy fuck yes. Like, this is where the book becomes something special and awesome and great and the way it ties all its themes together is great.

Yeah, it's worth a shot if you're a Marvel head. It's kind of an 80s Marvel comics that plays with 90s XTREME concepts in the context of 00s continuity (i.e. post-Disassembled, Civil War, and AvX). A lot of Claremont in there but Remender's gotta be a WCA fan too, dude brings back Wasp, Wonder Man and Scarlet Witch in by issue 5. Give it like 6-7 issues tho because the first arc sucks shit

Second time this week i've bursted out laughing out loud due to comics this week. First batman smile and now this. Great stuff

Agreed. The first arc was really weak but ever since then it's been great. I actually feel like it's more of an Avengers book than an X-book, but with some really good interaction between the mutants and super-humans.

Cap and Havok are great together.
