Especially when they have great ones :/ But for this month its fine.
I haven't seen it yet, so this is genuine curiosity and not snark: Is the animation good or just better than the low bar set by recent DC animated movies?
Both.
That's good to hear. I'd love a return to form for DC animation. Other than JL vs. TT I haven't really liked many of them since DKR.

I'm curious to see if Rosenberg gets another book now that he's off Rocket Raccoon. I would expect him to, but it should be something bigger given how his work has been received.
This also has me wondering if Star-Lord will be getting a new book as well.

Opinions on it have always been mixed from what I've seen.
Costume > book, buy a statue and paint it.
It's very pretty but completely eh in execution. The idea has so much more potential and it's hilarious that Gwen is the most boring thing in her own book.
The crossover with the Miles book has been fine so far, but that's the only issue I've read since the beginning.
Yeah, I have actually been thinking about picking it up myself.

Yup. Still not quite the same, but definitely close. Of course, Cooke was also an excellent writer. I don't know what Elsa's writing abilities are.

There's similarity in the way she draws faces, though. Definitely reminiscent of the way Cooke managed to channel that silver age comic style.
Oh yeah, for sure. The faces are the biggest thing. Plus the general linework and level of detail.
You just can't beat Darwyn, though.

Is that pre-Secret Wars? Because that was good. The post SW (Radioactive Spider-Gwen) run was boring so I dropped it after six issues.
The OHC collects her first appearance, the pre-SW run, and the first trade of the ANAD run.
