If I had an Xbox I'd probably get Halo but 4 was ass so I'd be sceptical as hell.

I don't really care about either these days but at least you can say Halo had a soul. I cared for the characters and I was invested in that world. I couldn't give a shit about Destiny's lore - if any exists. It was fun to play for a while though.

Kind of agree with you about Destiny, but honestly, I skip most fps stories, so it's nothing against Destiny. I just like to kill stuff or other players lol

4 wasn't ass, it just had a case of mistake identity. Halo 5 is Halo through and through.

They wouldn't have been half as bad if you could actually read them whilst playing the game.
I wouldn't say it was ass but it was definitely the weakest campaign of the series. I still had fun with the multiplayer but I'm in no rush to play Halo 5.
That is correct it's stupid they aren't in the game but it's hardly surprising given how 1.0 was shat out. I still wouldn't read them though.
It was pure ass m8. Everything from the story, characters, setting, enemies, guns and gameplay. Pure. Ass.

Naw, son. Gunplay is best in series, other than flinch. Characters and setting are top-notch too. Halo 4 had problems, but pure ass? No.

Disagreeeeee. I actually never played the campaign lol but I think the class system was a noble effort. Legendary Slayer was boss as fuck when they got that out.
In any case, Halo 5 is so far removed from that nonsense. The beta was incredible.
Agree to disagree. Reach was the last good Halo.
I hope you enjoy it. Even if I had another £300 to waste I had such a bad experience from my first Xbone I'm in no rush to get another.

How can you be a Halo fan and not play the campaign? It's like being a Star Wars fan and not watching any of the films. Though admittedly you didn't miss a great deal with 4's campaign.
Halo is weird in that it's the only FPS series with a substantial multi player component wherein I prefer the campaign. I suppose Timesplitters counts as well but it's not really the same local vs online. I think Future Perfect has net play but I never tried online with the PS2.

I had a 360 when 3 came out, but not when 4 came out. Or Reach or ODST for that matter.
I just love the multiplayer a lot. I would say I grew out of touch with fps campaigns at some point after 3.

Hmm I don't know it's very bare-bones. Only thing I'm really interested in is what happened to the Queen and that's solely because that whole event seemed utterly pointless as it achieved nothing apart from the awoken getting their ass kicked.

Yeah, I liked that he realizes that it's something that would require some time to setup; that it can't be rushed, because then it doesn't work. The pairing is a marathon, not a sprint.

Did the Bombshell Batwoman statue get delayed? I noticed she wasn't on Diamond's list this week.

I think you can edit the order up to the time they charge / month it ships. The latter for statues and such.

It lets me add stuff, but not remove...
You can only manually remove things from your order before the order deadline, usually the third week of the month. You can manually add things to your order until the next order cycle starts. You can usually email support to add things to your order later, but sometimes you can't remove things especially if you are way late. Try emailing now to remove the extra issue.

As someone that played Nier until all endings were seen, i'd readily suggest that no one should play Nier when there are better options available.

WHat hurt it was time and resources. Like I said, it wasn't amazing, but as far as pure gameplay goes, it was better than most action games out there. I'm not sure what was wrong with the controls. Only thing I saw wrong with them was the fact that the taunt is tied to holding "O" as opposed to tapping select.
Every game should have a viable taunt mechanic.

Besides, at the time they were developing 3 games: Bayo2, SB, and TLoK. After Bayo2 and TLoK came out, they were focusing on SB. Now they are doing art for the new Star Fox, gameplay for Nier 2, and Transformers Devastation.
I think MGR:R and TLoK showed how viable the company was as a freelance developer for existing properties, and how the company does really well in the world of solid gameplay and mechanics.
The use of quotes in that article reminds me of this

Going back to Hearthstone after a weekend of Mad Max was a mistake. How is it that a card game is more stressful than a post-apocalyptic wasteland? I think I have the worst ladder anxiety in the world. I get that you'll win a certain amount of games on luck, likewise you'll lose as many, but when you grind out a close win it's the best feeling. Gots to keep climbing for those gold cards though. Plus, I got a gold Argent Lance and another Bolf in today's pack, so I now have Nexus-Champion Saraad.
I want to read comics but I'm way too hyper right now. I did read a bunch of stuff earlier, like the last three issues of Doctor Who: Four Doctors (really good, the look into the bad timelines was pretty chilling, plus the antagonist was a complete surprise), a random Predator trade I got in the library called Prey to the Heavens (horrific art and horrendous cast of characters, complete waste of time) and the Gotham Academy trade from the Batman Day sale (really, really good stuff, wasn't keen on the art but it has grown on me).
