Coming to Game Pass: Metaphor ReFantazio, The Division 2, Tales of Kenzera: Zau, and More

The only people who don't have gamepass are either paid shills or people who don't like games.

What other conclusion can be drawn?
Most of the people on this forum who criticize are Sony fanboys who say they don't like rental services, while they subscribe to PS Plus, a very inferior service.

Nice month. Unfortunately, I am letting my sub expire this month. Fortunately, I already have the headliner in my back log. I just need to get back to it.

I still can't believe The Division 2 is getting an expansion in 2025.

NGL, even after all these years, it plays really well. Tight controls etc etc.

Still like the setting in Div 1 a lot more but 2 is a more refined game, a lot more solo-friendly too.

It's also a long game, around the same timeframe.

It's probably minimum 1 year, possibly 2 or more ala Persona 3 Reload, so you have a lot of time. Don't play two long games back to back, it's gonna burn you out.

Expedition wasn't a super long game. I got all the achievements and finished it at around 57 hours. So Metaphor is the same?

Metaphor is definitely worth a monthly sub only problem being most people probably won't be able to finish it in 1 month. Division 2 came out so long ago does it still have a large audience?

Xbox is doing a pretty good job. I hope there is some new stuff announced in the showcase as well.

I'd like them to do more stuff with things already announced, maybe start putting release dates on games like Fable, Perfect Dark. Do a Contraband re-reveal, show Double Fine's next game etc.

Maybe redo the Fable protagonist since they lost an election. :)

You're not likely to see Fable until the January dev direct. They'll shoot onsite in the UK, interview everyone and show a release date.

I'm really enjoying Monster Train 2 so far. Very addictive. It seems to be reviewing great as well (currently 89 on Meta Critic).

It's great but I wish it was a bit more difficult in standard difficulty. It takes just a couple unlocks and practice to win the first run.

In fact it seems even easier than the first one (except the boss with the Reanimate stacks, fuck this guy).

I think the meat of the game is climbing the covenant ranks, which will ramp up the challenge.

- dont want M$ as middleman to play a game
- dont want to be "on a clock" when playing a game (really hate that shit)
- if I buy, I support the devs/game directly, not M$
- less trouble with mods and stuff
- fuck subscriptions in general :messenger_winking_tongue:
You lost me with M$. Can I ask if you have PS Plus?

You should distinguish PS Plus higher tiers from base tier. I have base tier and don't have any interest in subs for games. I download some of the free games, but I literally only sub because you have to if you want to play non-F2P games online.

My dislike of subs for gaming is multi-fold yet simple. First, I would need multiple subs to play the games I play. Second, I like "owning" (I know, I know) my games. I don't like the idea of losing access if price gets hiked. I have other reservations about subs in general, but truthfully none of those would prevent me from subbing. There are pros for any cons.

All of that said, COD is a game changer. If I could get GP on my PS5 Pro I would definitely consider it. Depending on the cost for a year compared to just buying COD there's a good chance I would sub. COD, to me, is akin to sports games in that once the new version comes out I am generally done with the year before. That basically neutralizes my second reason for disliking subs. I'd pay a few more bucks to rent games I wouldn't care enough about to purchase. But not like a 100 a year extra.

Try Spray Paint Simulator if you haven't. Pretty fun for this genre. You have to tape all the areas you want blocked out. Just a simple and relaxing game.
