by Megan Spurr, Community Lead, Xbox Game Pass • Jul 5, 2023 @ 6:00am
What do heists, dinosaurs falling out of the skies, and puzzles all have in common? If it is anything other than “games coming to Xbox Game Pass”, I would very much like to know! We have games coming soon that we announced during the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase (looking at you, Exoprimal), and we even have a surprise return today with Grand Theft Auto V. Let’s get to the games!

Includes both the Xbox One and the Xbox Series X|S versions of Grand Theft Auto V.

The Cave is old and shit, but it is a great adventure game.

Techtonica and Common Hood don't like my type of game at all, McPixel 3 is no go and I had enough of GTAV (but I will check it out how current-gen version looks), so I guess I'm only left with Exoprimal. Can't be slamdunks all the time.

Nice, GTA new gen has nearly been an impulse buy for me on more than one occasion.
Everybody says even pets have played GTAV, after their owners, and also the developers themselves are still buying it; but do you know what ? I never finished GTAV because of my job, I had to move to another Country and I was too busy with my career; I can play it now on XSX, why not, I have more free time now :D Let's go :D graphics and performance should be fine.

I mean that looks kinda fun but how long before the novelty wears off? I don't know if this is the type of game I'd want to play long term. Doesn't feel like the kind of game that would have a battle pass system either? Hmm I dunno

I think with anything, especially this type of game, it will get boring at some point. And that feeling may come sooner than later depending how you approach games.

If you have Gamepass, might as well try it.

I really liked The Cave!
GTA5... "Here is a mega game... that EVERYBODY and their pets have already played, probably more than once!"

Edit: Are there any newer games like The Cave? I don't remember any.

People act like everyone already owns GTA, on several platforms, but some don't at all, and some only on one and are ready for a replay.
I own it on PC but never played it.
This is hardly a day one like game, but still a game that is probably important for a sub service. Engaging a couple of people for quite a while.

I'm surprised that Insurgency isn't mentioned alongside bigger games. It has a great gameplay that falls somewhere between arcade and simulation("leans" more towards simulation).

I've tried a few times over the years and also can't get into it. The story is poor and the characters unlikeable. Also the driving model is a big downgrade over GTA IV.
Completely. I played Tales from Liberty City this year and it is faaaar better. It's a shame that V has been shoved in our face for years bc it should have been IVs quality

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
We all wanted to know when GTA 5 would stop selling. We've arrived at that point.

Why would you assume it will stop selling lol, GTA V has been on game pass once before as well, as well as being offered for a full month as an EGS freebie on PC.

Pretty good first half of the month. Factory building games are my jam, so I'm definitely looking forward to Techtonica. I'll also check out Exoprimal. Not really interested in the rest.
