Its every guys fantasy, too bad it was empty! :(

quick question..

im only on the first chapter but I cant figure out how to pick up any weapons. The butt of my handgun kind of sucks and I see pipes and nail-boards around

Walk up to a weapon, look at it and it'll say press A to pick it up. It'll also tell you how it compares to your current weapon

And lol at that image :D

I borrowed it from a friend yesterday. Camped on it and beat it in around 8 hours. Pretty cool, pretty moody. Definitely one of the sleepers of the launch. As I think one of the previous posters stated, the game's story does feel like a collection of a lot of thoughts and ideas not properly organized. Based on the way the game was playing out, I had theories about how the game would end and felt let down when it didn't.

Story aside, I can say that I can reccomend this game for those looking for a ' Survival Horror' fix. (Although the amount of health you are given makes the game a little on the easy side.) IMHO, it IS very tense throughout, but NOT scary like SH or Siren.

I would say that it is a GREAT rental. I wouldn't buy unless you are the type that is obsessed with collecting EVERYTHING.

Hope this helps anyone looking to buy.

Just downloaded, and played through the demo. Really cool stuff. I didn't think that the graphics were THAT good looking at screens, but the game looks awesome in motion.
The first time you come across an "addict" and you yell to him to come out and he responds with "Fuck You!"...
Awesome stuff.

Just finished the game, a bit dissapointed with the ending. Can anyone give a brief recap of what in the hell happened to the main character and what was it all about? :D

Nope. I doubt even Monolith will be able to explain that one.

Holy crap, Just played the demo! Amazing stuff and I'm going to buy it at Media play today! :D

Smart man.

You havent seen nothing yet,its truly one of those games that gets better the further along you get.

I'm glad people are liking the demo, it's my #1 launch game for sure. One thing to remember, that if you enjoyed the demo, you ain't seen nothing yet. As Matrix says, this game, unlike most, truly does get better as you progress. The first level is a joke (while still very good) compared to later ones.

I finally got to play a little of this.

Awesome game- great atmosphere, beautifully dark, dirty graphics... I was blown away.

Even though I plan to get a 360 down the line, I'm wondering if SEGA still has plans to bring this to PS3? I seem to recall a cover of Game Informer (maybe) that featured Condemned and had 'X360 and PS3' listed as the platforms. Anyone know if this is still the case?

headbutting hobos is one hell of a fun time. :D

After finally putting COD2 to rest (need to replay on veteran but have loaned to a friend for the time being), I've moved onto Condemned. I've had it since the UK launch, tried it briefly, liked the look of it but thought I'd save it for a rainy day. And that rainy day was yesterday, and what fun I've had with it since then. I really love the world the game creates, the combat is a lot of fun...even though it may be simplistic there seems a lot to master in terms of timing etc. And the game is DEFINITELY getting better the further I get in. The last couple of chapters I've played have been fantastic. One of those games that I would like to go slow with due to length, but I just can't help but playing and feel I will go back to it to unlock some of the acheivements. Oh, and the sound design in this game is top notch.

The November NDP said something around 80000, which is pretty good considering I haven't seen this game at my local Walmart or Zellers. I don't really know why though.

This is one of those games I wait until I can get some real clear time to appreciate the atmosphere and also to replay stages. I replayed stages 1 and 2 immediately to find all the bonus items. Waiting until I can sit down uninterrupted and fully appreciate stage 3 and beyond.
