Old news, but yes, it's probably a good rape detuerent... since getting one of those stuck on you is worse than the crime.
 
Why would a doctor know how to remove that thing? Is there a universal key or something?

Anyway, I'm pretty sure these types of things have been around for ages. It's a pretty easy self-defense tool.

Yeah, why would they do that when they could cut off his dick while he was sleeping? And even if they did, how does this device make it easier to hurt him? Crazy folk will be crazy folk regardless of this product being available, and I really don't think the Western World is its target market.
 
There's a German comic by Ralf König, "Kondom des Grauens", where condoms eat penisses or something. That is all I got.
 
Being permanently attached to an angry rapist seems like something that should have been considered just a little bit before these were produced.

No. They will freak the fuck out because there are goddamned blades in their dick. You're forgetting that there will be an induced mental shock/stunning from this device, which will give the female a vital second to escape and/or grab something like a spike and be able to fight for her life. They're not going to see the clamp on their penis and respond, "How dare you!"; they're going to see it and think "what the hell is on my dick" and will be just as confused as they are in pain and "anger."

Condemning the device because it may "upset" the rapist or "put the victim in even more danger" is preposterous.
 
Don't they tell women not to fight rapists since that can make them madder and cause them to kill you? Obviously this will piss off the rapist.
 
Ancient story, as mentioned. Aaancient, but I like the device. I doubt that many rapists would be able to do much more then be awash in pain and confusion after an angry condom has torn into them. Even if they do have enough focus to lash out and are armed, that is hardly a guarantee that the victim would be murdered. It seems like a perfectly viable option for self defense (not to mention that the pain inflicted by the device would also buy the victim time to go for his eyes, should she so choose).

Well, if you live some place in the world where you'd need to consider walking around with one of these inside of you at all times, I'd wager that you stand a very good chance of ending up a dead person either way. Unless it is one of those rapists that buys you dinner afterward.

So if it happens to you perhaps you can stop it from happening to someone else.

Exactly. Living in Africa is not like living in the US, the shit going on there is horrifying and you're just as likely to die in such a pillage.

This device works best as a psychological deterrent. They should promote it and sell it and make would be rapists think twice. But actual use would be unwise.

Playing devil's advocate if I saw option 1 was boobytrapped, I would just go for option 2 or 3. Is there an anal and oral anti-rape device?

This, and also no one has brought up the fact that rape requires a boner and boners are full of blood. Combine that with raised heart rate during the attack and you have a severe wound that will result in massive blood loss which could lead to death if not treated quick. I don't imagine many "victims" of this device would hang around.

I'm not sure how it could work at that level. It would a few seconds to check if a rapist knew of the possibility.

I'm thinkng the purpose is for the moment. I don't think the woman will be in any more danger than she was at the time of being raped. I really think this will be a freak out moment. I can't think of a scenario that would have me preferring to spend time killing someone than trying to get that thing off of me.

Then again, I'm not a rapist so I'm not going to have a unity of thought on the matter.

I don't think rape victims want to be murderers either.
As traumatic as rape is I think a guy bleeding to death inside you directly because of your actions is not a very nice thought either.

I don't know, after all are rapists still getting off through the stimulation of the penis. If you now rip all those nerves in the penis apart I think it would be impossible to feel any sexual arousal.
 
What if you meet a woman in a bar and you end up having consensual sex and she forgot to mention that she has a penis-eating device in her vagina?

It's like no one has encountered a vagina before.
Imagine trying to put a condom on by first unrolling it and then putting it into the vagina, and then inserting your penis into the vagina.

Now imagine what you would have to do to make that scenario work - the condom would have to be attached or braced to the women at least at the end, and be rigid enough to prevent it from collapsing, yet somehow be flexible enough to be wearable when not getting raped.

As far as the spikes are concerned, they would have to apply enough pressure to pierce the skin and tissue to actually be embedded. Your only source of force is the friction against the teeth as you withdraw the penis, and that force is divided amongst all the spikes. Unless the device is attaches to the woman in some way, or the device weighs 200 pounds, you're not going to get hooks embedded into dicks.

The device simply can't work as described.

It would be self defense, not murder. Maybe some wouldn't like the idea of harming their rapist but I imagine most who were interested in a device like this wouldn't give a single fuck.
 
Why need a doctor to remove the thing . . Why not get some sterile-balls-removement-condom that creates a green circle on the guys head sort of device?
I´m sure it´s not THAT difficult..?

Fixes the whole problem police and sexdrivewise imo
