It says Wed 18th at 12:10am. That's Tuesday night correct? I thought the movie came out on Thursday officially. What's the deal?

If the ticket stub says Wed 18th, isn't that Tuesday night?!

Why the heck does it say Wednesday 18th 12:10am then?? I thought computers were supposed to be good with technicalities. (thanks for the reply)

Ha, this reminds me of when the Special Editions were first released in 1998... They were the first movies to have midnight showings. They printed movie tickets that had 12:00am Wednesday on them. There was a confusion as to whether that meant wednesday morning or night... from then on, they printed tickets as 12:01 am Thursday.

Your ticket definitely interprets as a Tuesday evening -> Wednesday morning, but the release day isn't until the 19th (thursday). Unless you got a special day before viewing or something.

Actually I think that may have to do with when the previews start and when the movie actually starts. Previews start at 12:00 and movie starts at 12:10. I think the Loews movies theater chain is starting to do that.

No many theaters are showing a movie on more than one screen and each one starts 1 minute after the other one. There's a theater down here that has showings beginning from 12:01am to 12:15am.
