I ran into a hacker in Casual. It's like the old days where people just hacked for fun.
ive only seen a couple in comp, i remember one time we all sat in t kitchen on inferno and prefired the corner when he came near. got him like 3 times, still lost the rounds because hed get 4 of us before dying

Is it possible to host a lan connection so I can teach my wife the maps and guns?

i havent been, but i only did it for about 15 minutes to run around newke the day of the update

I think I might have to do a full reinstallation because I'm getting loading errors in my console during matches and I can't start a bot match successfully anymore. I'll try verifying the integrity of game cache first though.
true, losing 2-0 to CLG on LAN is quite the accomplishment

This might explain why it took them so long with Nuke, they put in quite a few Lighting and Shader improvements + started using a modular system for commonly used assets so they had to remodel a bunch of stuff.

It's cool that they did this, but damn I wish they would just roll out the Source 2 editor, like they did for dota. Hammer is such an ancient unpractical tool and it needs to be buried. I guess they've made these lighting and shading improvements for src2 and are now bringing it over to source because it will still be a while before we can get our hands on the new one. But it's nice to have at least one map that doesn't feel so outdated and that the mappers can get their hands on it now.
In my honest opinion I think we'll never get CSGO running on Source 2, that'd be way too risky and could potentially blow up into Valves face.
Dota 2 did not have any kind of custom content so they had a blank slate and could do whatever but CS has alot of that. Custom game modes, and even just all the maps that could end up being incompatible and would need minor (or major) adjustments.
Them constantly updating the CSGO engine with new features (hitbox update, shader update etc) is also proof to me that they're not thinking of porting it to Source 2, because there'd really be no reason to waste time on that if they were working on a "new" version anyways.

This is really frustrating. It loads until the "connecting to server" message pops up and then csgo becomes "unresponsive" and freezes until I close it.
Any suggestions?
