Looks exactly like a Crazy Taxi game.

This franchise was always in a rough spot. It was novel at the time because iit was one of the first open world driving games...but we've progressed a looooooong way since then.

Crazy Taxi wasn't really open world, the first was a literal circuit track. This new one might be.

On a serious note.

If I were to make a Crazy Taxi game then I'd have every NPC passenger be voiced by a major global celebrity and then I'd give them carte blanche to say whatever the hell they want during their ride Reigate taxi. Inspired by Die Hard: With a Vengeance.

I didn't get to see it. I can't say that I really care. I recall reading something about GaaS or other such persistent online world nonsense. That doesn't interest me at all in a Crazy Taxi title.

I loved the original Crazy Taxi. My friend and I made up our own game within the game. During the Arcade time limit, we would drive uphill on the longest uphill runs, purposely speed boosting and then smashing headlong into vehicles. At the right speed and angles, you could send the CPU vehicles careening into space at insane speeds. The vehicles would spin and flip wildly. We thought it was the most hilarious thing ever, and it provided hours of fun after we had our fill of the base game.
