Since I can't post topics yet, does anyone know what season and episode number the X-Files was where it was filmed like an episode of COPS.

The catch was it was some type of Boogeyman slaughtering people...it was intense...and it never had a real ending...

Ah, I remember being terrified of that.

Any help is appreciated.

I also really liked that eps. It was called, creatively, "X-COPS". It's eps #151 in season 7. Looking it up I found a cool tidbit:
"This episode is filmed by real life COPS cameraman and soundman Daniel Emmett and John Michael Vaughn."

Some great scenes mentioned, which I found a bit surprising because I did the thread solely to post about that freaky Cosby scene. :D I was hoping bishoptl would take the bait so I could troll the Cos as a perv, but remembering all the cool scary shows is just as good.

Is it me or is there not much in TV horror these days?
I agree. Too many reality shows and CSI/Law & Order type shows. But I'm sure the whole horror-theme will come back into style one day. There used to be a goodly number of scifi/supernatural shows with an emphasis on frightening the bejezus out of the viewer. I still remember when "Werewolf" was cancelled and I was worried there'd never be anything like that on TV again, then X-Files caught on and the genre exploded.

Hahaha, Calder, that's one of the most disturbing Cosby shows I've ever seen - and of course, that's the one that has stuck with me the longest!

When Omar Epps' character in ER jumped in front of the train - that was seriously fucked up.

Yeah, that was a scary episode!
Season 2 of The X-Files had a lot of scary episodes!

And I watched those episodes secretaly in the dark in my bedroom. The X-Files aired way passed bedtime when I was 11.

I heard it's on perm. hyatius. they started production but Season 1 sadly didn't get enough sales to justify a season 2. pisses me off.

I don't believe this is accurate actually. As I understand it, there's some sort of rights issue holding up the release of season two. That would make more sense anyway, as how bad do sales have to be to keep companies from releasing DVDs? They're releasing Saved By the Bell: The New Class on DVD.

My moment is also from Millenium, the intro teaser. A dog brings a dead crow into a home, which is sitting down to eat. Then the dad starts bleeding from the mouth and everyone else starts bleeding and they all pass out, dead.

Freaks me out just remembering it.
