Cronos: The New Dawn | Salvage The Past | Release Date Trailer

Seems my type of game.

I hated the first two games that I played from Blobber (Blair Witch and The Medium) and I thought that the Silent Hill 2 Remake would be trash.... But luckily I was wrong.

I might buy this one at launch.

They clearly aren't human the way they speak about humanity.
If I understood that right, the way you "save" survivors is by digitizing their memories etc. and uploading them to a hard drive. That's what that claw-like contraption is. It's been a while since I've been curious about the bigger picture of a game's lore but apparently they're keeping everything but the very beginning a secret.

This is my type of game. Third person Lovecraftian cosmic horror shooter. Love the creepy monster design and how they absorb each other to grow stronger. Strong the The Thing vibes overall. Day 1.

Yeah looks awesome. So much coming out in September. Already purchased Silent Hill f. Coming out the same month as Silent Hill, after making a remake of Silent Hill. 🫠

Big mistake releasing in September, Hell is Us on the 4th, Borderlands 4 on the 12th, Dying Light 19th, Silent Hill f 25th. They should delay and release it on Halloween, sales *will* be cannibalized in September. Otherwise I think it looks great but I'm prioritizing some of the above so it won't be a day 1.

So, Cronos: The New Dawn was just unexpectedly announced for Nintendo Switch 2 — and it came with a short teaser trailer that gives us a glimpse of what to expect. Thanks to a few familiar shots, we can now compare this new footage to earlier materials, most likely captured on an unspecified PC. Here's an early graphics comparison to see how the game stacks up on Nintendo's upcoming hybrid console. Let's dive in!

Looks like a great time, I'll probably end up buying.

The sound design and atmosphere look top notch, and combat seems appropriately crunch in a Dead Space kinda way.

Gonna be an interesting case on Switch 2 as well, being a current gen only UE5 title, I've always found these sort of ports interesting.
