It still kinda bugs me that they edited the original ending of Child's Play 2, choosing to use the opening of CP3 as current canon. I always thought how awesome it would be to have two Chuckies running around...

I like most of them. The first one I ever saw was Bride of Chucky, and then I went back and watched the others. Seed of Chucky went too far into comedy for me. Curse was great, though.


Time to continue Andy's endless cycle of torment.

I think they're all pretty good. Child's Play 3 might be the weakest, or least the one I remember the least.

3 was bad. Bride revived the dead series before Seed killed it again. Curse brought it back to life once more.

I appreciate the Chucky franchise. I know I'm in some minority here, because I actually really like every film in the franchise. Seed is so schlocky... but those are my fav types of horror films, believe it or not. B Grade trash. Yep, give it to me all day.

Anyways Curse was very good, and this is highly anticipated.

The moment I knew Curse was gonna be legit.

I was impressed what Mancini and crew managed to pull off in regards to the doll effects in Curse while not having much money. The stationary doll is damn near a perfect replica of the Child's Play 1 doll and the later animated Chucky looked great. That being said, they really dropped the ball with the doll that was used in a few scenes like the one in the gif. It always gave away when Chucky was about to move or speak due to looking anywhere close to others and killed any suspense, plus it looks like shit. I'm looking forward to seeing what they go with in Cult.

Wish we could have seen some actual footage as well, the short history of the series was nice though.

I remember people hating that new design on him.

I did like this, maybe if it was more consistent with the other designs used I would have been more positive about the look.

Child's Play: Still a classic.
Child's Play II: Wait this one is a classic too? I did not know that.
Child's Play III: Mediocre, please go back to the drawing board.
Bride of Chucky: I see you did what I asked, can't complain I guess.
Seed of Chucky: Abort, new direction was a mistake, abort!
Curse of Chucky : Not bad considering you had zero dollar to fulfill your mission of restoring the franchise.

Yep any other opinions are incorrect.
Child's play 2 has my favorite 3rd act In a horror movie. I worked in a factory for a few years, it had my grown 250 pound ass nervous when I had to go to the back by myself at 2 am lol.

I remember the first one gave me nightmares as a child for years so I avoided 2 and 3 like the plague growing up. The camp of Bride pulled me in and I just watched Seed and Curse tonight just to make sure I'm caught up for when Cult comes out. Curse was annoying bc like most people

I thought it was a reboot and hated the design. I was so happy when the reveal happened.

I like the campy stuff regardless of how bad it was. I guess I'll go watch 1,2 and 3 sometime soon, too.
