One thing that could've made the comparison even better is to have included power supplies. The PS3 has an internal one (right?) which makes quite a bit of difference as adding the XBox 360's brick makes it an even bigger biznackle.

I remember it was said for a fair while that X360 would be smaller than the PS2. Its nearly the same size as the Xbox! So is the PS3. All this tech needs much more room to cool.
Still it just shows the effect the designs have. The X360 is the largest next-gen console but being concave it appears to some people smaller than the PS3 (convex).

I dont see how that works, looking at the disc and the revolution. the blue slot is presumably just a hair wider than the disc, but it all looks askew. like the disc is disproportionatly big. anyone else catching that?

Nice size diagram but I don't think we have gotten any real dimensions of the PS3 or Revo. I spent an hour or so doing my own comparison diagram using the USB and the power plug to scale the image and from what I could tell, it seemed that the PS3 was smaller than the 360.

The real dead give away on the error in rev size on that digram is the disc slot. if you compae the size of the slots on the ps3 and rev on that diagram, you will notice that the ps3 slot is larger. that is impossible because the disc size between the two systems should be the same.

i do not think the rev will be that small.

I think Nintendo should stick to handhelds. That revolution isnt powerful. I think they only way they could sell is the cheap price and if the controller handles like a God. Other then that, I think they should stick to handhelds. Oh wait, Sony beat them at that too! Laughing

It also assumes there is only 1cm clearance between the DVD and the top and bottom of the unit. Got to be at least 2cm, imo.
