Fuck me, you think any of those cretins have even heard of William Gibson, let alone read Neuromancer?

Haven't seen that movie, don't think I ever will

That was just part of the review, she also mentioned the bugs, poor world building, felt the side quests didn’t mean much for the main story and a few others that I can’t remember.
So what is the conclusion? If not for bugs it would be close to 100?

Cyberpunk 2077 PC Benchmarks, Settings, and Performance Analysis
We've tested Cyberpunk 2077 on a bunch of GPUs to see how it runs. Spoiler: It's very demanding.www.tomshardware.com
So you just looked at the score for PCGamer and assumed it was "ideologically skewed?" Do a word search for "trans" on PCGamer and see how often it comes up. The Gamespot review has exactly one paragraph related to MIXITUP and representation in general and it comes well within the review and isn't particularly unfair.
. . .fine to criticize reviews that are reviewing ideology and not the game but at least focus on those that are and not just kneejerking it.
Oh wow. Thanks for this. Well, in a way, I'm happy there's a game pushing systems this hard. But, at the same time, it doesn't look mind blowingly amazing. Gonna dig through these benchmarks a little more.Going by the benchmarks in this thread you will need to use DLSS to even get 30fps if you want Ultra settings + RTX at your res. If you want 60 fps + RTX + Ultra I think you need to go to a much lower res than your native or disable RTX.
Hopefully the Ultra settings are over the top though and can be reduced with little quality loss to gain massive frames back.

You know, you could easily see that ad as a positive for representation, because in a sense the game is saying that in the future even trans people are happily exploited on billboards, just like men and women are today. In other words, they've become so commonplace and accepted in the culture, that you can use them to sell a soft drink. If a game did nothing but relegate White Males to token bigots/bad guys and had a person-of-color as protag and a Mary Sue, you wouldn't be complaining about that even if the game was fundamentally a good one? I find that hard to believe.
Yeah, almost certainly some bugs cause performance issues.
Nothing then. 11.4 fps on a 3 month old, £700 GPU.
Maybe the 3090 can get to 30 with a small settings reduction.
I'm still thinking there is someone weird going on though, figures are too low for the total package presented imo.
Looks like the game delivers A LOT.
Main problems are about glitches all around and performance issues.
I'm not going to talk about trans or crunch fuckshit, those resetera bastards can lick my dick.
People just need to read the first paragraph:I'd wait until the games out, the inevitable New Drivers for it have landed and other sites have benched it
And said fiction is not free from criticism. And criticism does not have to adhere to your standards.
The reviewer's name is Shōhei Fujita,he's a writer.Jesus fucking christ, what a well written review it seems to be
IGN US, on the other hand: "game looks cool, shooting is nice, everything awesome. Some bugs, yeah, I rate it a 9"

The book isn't even worth your time, don't bother with the movie.Haven't seen that movie, don't think I ever will
I don't think reviewers are removing points due bugs.So what is the conclusion? If not for bugs it would be close to 100?
How long is the honeymoon period going to last for this one? When will we start seeing "Cyberpunk 2077 is a pile of buggy shit and it's not all that great overall" threads.
When will the hivemind decide it's "OK" to shit on this one I wonder?
There is NO DAY1 PATCH YET, it's literally a DAY 1 PATCH. Many honest reviwers have stated that the thing is a buggy mess even after the day -5 patch that was 40+gbs.
It's not that it's OBVIOUS that they played with a magical patch, it's OBVIOUS that they're dishonest fucks that don't want to ruin their company's ad revenue from CDPR.
The fact that CDPR isn't allowing a reviewers OWN FOOTAGE in the pre-release reviews is a very BAD and TELLING sign of what state this thing is in.
So GOG is DRM-free, but what about Steam and Epic versions?People just need to read the first paragraph:
However, there's a major disclaimer: This is near-final code, but CDPR has been working on bug fixes, tuning, and optimization for the past couple of weeks. AMD and Nvidia are also working on driver improvements, and the preview copy includes Denuvo protection. That could impact CPU performance in particular, which is why this is a preview of how the game runs. The final release code should perform at least this well, and hopefully a bit better.
It is running Denuvo which has always tanked performance and not even the optimized builds. I bet the benchmarks will be much better.
In my opinion, yes my opinion, that shouldnt be there in the first place. I dont care if its mentioned only 1 time or 10, it shouldnt be there. Also fun how you leave out exactly the Polygon review which talks about that the most. But hey you need to defend them so you chose the parts that help your view.
Then it makes that he is able quite a literary review. Wish other reviewers could write. The reviewer's name is Shōhei Fujita,he's a writer.

Precisely. So basically the same as Witcher 3 again. Great game, but launch performance and glitches hold it back until all major performance patches are out.
I had a completely opposite experience. Experienced a number of bugs. One of the worst issues I frequently experienced involved me falling through the environment. It happened to me more than it ever did in ANY other open world game I've ever played. Hell, or any other game period. It was so bad that I gave up on it because it was so frustrating.Witcher 3 had great performance at launch and not many bugs, at least on PC.

That is basically why people hate tearing.
It makes games unplayable if happens regularly.
I take bad framerate over these.
Sorry it was a typo... I meant PS4
Thanks for compiling a list of shit sites/youtubes i should avoid
Im staying away from videos and most review for now. Anyone know how many difficulty options are there? I managed to finish TW3 on the highest difficulty after losing my sanity but it was worth it HehehEHHEhEHehheEH
why not? people should stop thinking they "have ' to play at ultra settings..no shame in playing in medium -high mixWell, I'm definitely playing in 1080p/High then, lol. Holy shit (I have a RTX 2060 super)
PS5 and XB Series X won't reach 60 FPS, right?!
Yeap I know. What? That is not tearing, is a bug
Anyone who has a skidmark next to their name on twitter/twitch is safe to ignore. it used to be that you had to have to actually be someone to get the holy blue skidmark, nowadays any grifter with a couple of thousand followers gets one. It's totally devalued and anyone that treats it as some sign of status signifier is best ignored.
