Here are some games that I've played in recent memory that are bugs galore, hurting the immersive experience games are supposed to provide. It's unacceptable:

- Days Gone
- Witcher 3
- Miles Morales
- FF7R
- Outer Worlds
- Black Ops 4
- Dying Light

It's time to get real.
Especially with the rising price in AAA games, constant immersive breaking bugs are unacceptable and should be factored into all reviews. The fact Cyberpunk is in a near unplayable state and is rated as high as it is pathetic. The fact that Miles Morales & Days Gone launched the way they did is pathetic. It's even more pathetic that 5 years later, I experienced numerous bugs in witcher 3 when I played through it this year. Don't hold your breath for the Cyberpunk bugs to be completely fixed for a while if at all.

This is highly anti-consumer as people with bad wifi or live in a poor country are getting a butchered game right out of the box.

STOP NORMALIZING SLOPPY GAMES

Nobody said it's in an unplayable state, care to read other reviews? They all said there are plenty of bugs but none of them make the game unplayable.

If you’re coming here to defend all the resetera shit, know you are actively being trolled by those people.

This is literally the biggest step for trans people in gaming so far, it’s going to have huge mainstream implications.

Them people do not think the game is transphobic they are trolls. It’s the most obvious thing in the world and people are running with it.

Represent.

Represent(ative) of bad opinions
Man I really wish they gave an ETA for the next gen patch.

Its ridiculous to buy a new console partly for this game then have to play the PS4 version on it

Nope, the guy is bad positioned and the half of the head is in top the car.
Yeap and you only see in the pic inside the car... just like tearing cuting the head in some games.

Here a example of tearing cutting a hand.

Don't pass gaas, it is your Destiny!
getting sick of having to wait months to play games after release so they can get fixed with patches. That said still got a butt load of stuff in various states of broken to play as I wait...

Well, count me as another one of the many users who has come here from Resetera just because I wanna discuss about videogames on a goddamn videogame forum, and especially to chat about one of the most hyped games of this generation alongside its mechanics, peacefully, without harassment, labellings and bullies to people who just wanna fucking play videogames and inmerse themselves, some even do it to just get a chance to forget about their real life problems for a moment..

As side note: i got tired of the all "offensiveness" coming from Resetera, It's become a total mess full of hypocrisy on every corner.; And I can totally say this as a person who basically "Hates Trump", and who's had a serious relationship with a transgender woman in the past, a woman who has all my respect as a person, including any member of the trans community.

You see, I just cannot relate with the transphobia issue claims ( I'm pretty sure, some trans membera cannot either; including trans members known to be working on the game at CDPR). We are talking about a world that was created in the 80s which pretty much tales about the dark future. Obviously, fuck up shit is being displayed all over the place. violence, sexualized ads for all genders, augmentations of all types, decadence, oppression, drugs, inequality, smuggling etc, etc. WTF were some offended expecting to see in this game??

Anyway, I'm looking forward to play this game at launch. Although I will be playing Cyberpunk my on base PS4, and I'm a bit worried about its actual state after the day one patch.

Your not alone, I just made the jump today. I loved the site much like I loved NeoGAF before but the sensitivity to "offensive" materials in videogames has gotten to where most are jumping at ghost at this point or actively looking for some non-game related issue to complain about. Lol, maybe it's just a generational thing but I'm too old to care for that stuff anymore, especially in my videogames. Heck, I've ben banned from there just for stating that we were getting off the topic of games and focusing to much on philosophical/social commentary.

Anyway, I am psyched for this game and have ben for quite sometime. I'm sure it's going to need a little more work, the Witcher 3 did as well at launch.

Did you even watch the video? Oh my Lord!

The fact they're even hiding people from recording footage is even more pathetic. They clearly want to control the narrative and don't want to hurt potential day one sales with bug complications online.

They said in the review that there is a setting to change city density?

Hoping that’s available on next gen consoles and not just PC

Another thing to note, there are seemingly no console reviews for the game yet.

I had a completely opposite experience. Experienced a number of bugs. One of the worst issues I frequently experienced involved me falling through the environment. It happened to me more than it ever did in ANY other open world game I've ever played. Hell, or any other game period. It was so bad that I gave up on it because it was so frustrating.

This was on PC.

Performance was good though, so there's that. But I'm sure we'll see various CP:2077 improvements come launch.
Interesting. But I guess mileage may vary, especially on PC.

The irony is that some of what I'm playing now is still slightly buggy... *looks at valhalla*

Play what's least buggy now while you wait for everything else to become less buggy.

Man, some of you guys need to chill the fuck out. If you're concerned about bugs, wait 3 months and there will be several patches to ease your pain. If you can't wait, then set expectations properly.

Man some of these bugs are Bethesda level and even beyond. If BGS gets shit on for their buggy worlds I think this one deserves the same treatment. I mean, look at this lol

I think the claim Cyberpunk 2077 has had management problems finally has evidence behind it. Hopefully, they'll learn from the experience and players shall get to enjoy the fruits of the acquired knowledge once the first expansion drops.

I think they are going to be especially careful now with that expansion. It wouldn't be fair to exonerate CDPR from any guilt and keep scolding Bethesda for a comparable level of bugs, no matter how much more consumer -friendly the Polish studio is.

So they are controlling what can be showed to not lose day one sales?

That is not a issue for me because I will wait anyway but reviewers should use the same weight for every game.

I am really thinking on buying a PS5 and play Demons Souls until Cyberpunk gets fixed.

Managment initally thought they could release the game in April so yeah lol

That's what it sounds like. I think most people have already made up their minds about it. I'm day one for it, but I'm going with middle of the road expectations.

FPS isn't my number one genre, but the overall presentation of the game kept me intrigued.

Im fucking getting crazy or it's really strange that at least for half of the reviewers bugs weren't that annoying and for other half they were swimming in bugs that were destroying their game experience? I swear to god that cd projet fuck up their patches in review copies and some were playing with patches and some without them without even realizing it

Or maybe different reviewers sees the bugs in different way.
Some doesn't bother having a crash to restart from the last checkpoint... others find that absolutely worst.

BTW if the bugs are random it makes it even worst because each reviewer are experiencing different bugs.

Honestly if the bugs are as it sounds like, than an average review score of 90 or higher would be immensely impressive.

Though I'm fairly sure that it'll go below that once console reviews start to come out

I've read that the gimped console versions haven't even been released to reveiwers yet. If the PC version is in this much of a mess, can you imagine how shit the console versions will be.

Fuck Polygon.

Is it transphobic to say that voice is one of the only sure fire ways to tell if a person is trans? Like what does he want? No amount of hormonal therapy actually changes the voice from male to female or vice versa to my knowledge unless you’re talking giving hormones to pre-pubescent kids which is just fucking wrong.

Keep in mind that pushing a patch midway can cause buggy save games to stay that way or even worsen it. Happens with many early access titles where your save game just breaks totally and bugs just get worse a big patch comes in. Not trying to defend anything, just saying that this is not really new.

From what I read they have the console versions already it just they are not allowed to post anything about them.
