No. It doesn't make shit sense. Lets look at what you stated:

"3 pretty girls, 2 best friend, 1 souped up car, fast driver (100 mph insanity) = disaster waiting to happen."

So what you are saying if that there were 3 ugly girls, or maybe 1 best friend, this would never happen? Or if the car was not a souped up car, this disaster would never happen?

It is shit analogy because you are saying that these kids deserved it as they should've known about this "disaster waiting to happen".

How about "Driving without any permit or license or any experience, and driving way over the speed of limit = disaster waiting to happen."

100mph is a crazy speed to be driving on. The speed is the reason for the death of them all. The irresponsible driver is the reason for the death of them all. Do not try to blame the "3 pretty girls". It's the driver's fault, pure and simple.

So let's recap: "The young man identified by a coroner as the driver in a single-car crash that killed five teenagers did not have a driver's license or a learner's permit, California DMV officials said Wednesday." One irresponsible driver = disaster waiting to happen.
I don't want you to draw on baseless conclusions from my statement, which simply says mixing teen friends and a guy known for his hard-on over his souped up car is a disaster waiting to happen. You're caught up over the pretty girls and best friends remark, which was meant to express the guys being into those girls and wanting to show off. I can't believe I'm having to explain such simple statement to you. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so having 3 ugly girls wouldn't make any difference. I'm not blaming anyone other than the speed maniac. For all we know it could have been the car itself. I'm simply looking at it as a perfect storm phenomenon. Nothing more. Even the guy who skipped out said the car was too much of a beast for someone that age to handle. And I'm sorry, teens in packed cars driving their daddy's Lexus or BMW 7 series is a disaster waiting to happen, girls or no girls. There is a reason why teens and people below the age of 21 have higher insurance rates than others. I have seen a highly similar accident 10 or so years ago when I was in junior high. In a similar circumstance, my brother and his friends were gonna go have a drive in Chevy Malibu (interestingly I remember the name and make of the car and not his friends). My brother due to some reason didn't go. The car went into an accident and flipped a few times, killing two of his friends including 1 or 2 lady friends. And this was in Saudi Arabia. The driver luckily made it out alive having severe injuries that were recovered over time. There is still a lock in his neck where he cannot turn his head fully in angles that we normally can. But he made it out with his limbs and body intact. By the way, the driver had a license.

Having a license or not is inconsequential to the thrill-seeking genes ingrained into teens' DNA's. It does not imply that people above the age of 21 suddenly drive like saints. On memorial day weekend me and my wife were almost killed on our way way to Michigan on Grand Rapids' loop near the downtown. A truck driver without checking his blindspot SWERVED into my lane without any indicator. I reacted within a microsecond and ran my car up the shoulder and almost flipped over, with other cars behind me also running up the shoulder and probably started a huge ass traffic jam. If the shoulder wasn't there, I wouldn't be posting today. It also does not mean that having a license will suddenly make reckless drivers safer. It is all based on statistics which show that the probability of people under 21 to get into wrecks is higher. My point from all of this is to show having DL does not make everyone suddenly safer and having teens packed in a fast car has higher probability of crashing, DL or no DL.

GungHo

Single-handedly caused Exxon-Mobil to sue FOX, start World War 3
A friend of mine had 6 accidents, the last one wrecked his 3rd car and shattered his hip. One year later he still averages 100 mph on the highway.

Dem Arabs.
Who keeps buying his cars? Or insuring them?

am I the only one that naturally tends to drive a bit slower when carpooling folks?
Only with my dad. I become an old lady. And he still finds something to complain about. Doesn't matter that he drives like a fucking tweeker when he's behind the wheel... when he gets a chance to be domineering he becomes the most hypervigilant motherfucker on the planet.

Why the hell does a kid without a licence own an Infiniti?
I doubt he bought it himself.

Why the hell was he driving such a powerful car??
Because his dumbass brother enabled him to do so. 17 year olds without licenses can't sign the goddamn paperwork that lets them walk out of a dealership with a car. He was given that thing. Same thing for those moronic 16~18 year olds driving Z4s, SL500s, and Mustang Cobras near the high school near my house. It's not like they hit the jackpot and managed to work so many shifts at the Dairy Queen that they can put together a $50k sack of quarters.

High powered car, car enthusiast driver, and girls in car=recipe for disaster. Probably trying to show off.

Can't say much other than RIP cause as a 17-year old I was a pretty heavy speeder. But my first car had 100hp and could barely even go over 60mph.

It's always weird hearing things like this that are so close to me. I work at a wafer fab a couple miles away on jamboree. RIP.

Such a tragic story. There are a lot of things wrong here, like giving a 17yo an infiniti with out having a license and parents not caring enough to let said 17yo drive. I can't imagine how the guy that had to stay behind feels. So many emotions to deal with at once.

If it was me.....glad to be alive above all else.
