Well, that is true. The game does get a lot of hate but judging from how long the game was in development and being backed by Nintendo, the game should have been better.Mejilan said:Really? I thought most people were expecting LESS, actually.

:lol :lol Same here. No Mary Kate & Ashley games for me.Mejilan said:Why? They aren't Nintendo, like Retro is. Nintendo gave 'em a chance, and they bungled it. I suggest Nintendo stop wasting their time and seek actual talent.
Geist may be a good game, but it's not exceptional, by all reports. Then again, it might be NSpace's best game ever. Surely it's their only game I've ever planned to buy (and will, eventually.)

still loving the game, woe?
Indeed. I wonder who owns the IP. NSpace, or Nintendo?
Shikamaru Ninja said:Just look at the copy right. Nintendo owns it fully.
Silent_Echo said:Geist is fun indeed. Right now I just escorted Bryson though the levels and helped him escape on a motorcycle. The puzzles really make sense and some make u think a little.
Sure the controls are loose, but the game is fun. And isn't that what it's really all about?
Silent_Echo said:Fun battle. Hard, but fun. Took me 4 tries to figure out the pattern. Very long battle too.
Good times.
Edit: Now I realize the severity of the spoiler....sorry.
LittleTokyo said:So are the puzzles logical and make sense? IE, not Resident Evil puzzles?

I do love the multiplayer in this game though, and yes no backtracking is very nice.
Musashi Wins! said:I rented it and I'm returning it without finishing. What a poorly made game. Bad AI, bad controls, bad graphics...just a mediocre effort all around. I like the idea of using a spirit form to possess objects and people but it's just so obvious and painfully constructed the way it played out here. Just a horrid developer, this game lived up to all the bad I heard about it all throughout the development process.
Mejilan said:Might just turn out to be my sleeper of the year contender.
Mejilan said:I won't apologize for liking a game that you didn't.
nightez said:Any sales figures yet?
Musashi Wins! said:haha, no and well you shouldn't. just griping, sorry. it bummed me out.
Mejilan said:Well, I AM sorry that it bummed you out. Honestly though, not that many sleepers this year, so far. It's more about that than Geist being some kind of amazing game (which it surely isn't.)
