Koei announced an original action game for PlayStation 3 called BladeStorm, the game is been developed by Omega Force, featuring massive battlefields, combat actions and strategic elements similar to Dynasty Warriors, but with a western / medieval background.

That's a harsh cold shower for my raging enthusiasm.

Well hopefully this has all of the awesome of Dynasty Warriors, with none of the suck of Samurai Warriors. And hopefully they don't rename it to Knight Warriors.

After Dynasty Warriors 3, I just sort of fell out of the series. I can still appreciate it; but binge playing it for days in a row for 8 to 12 hour stretches just gave me an enormous guilt complex.

It's all the more painful because I recently loaned Slingblade from the library and right when he's about to get the job thanks to the guy that ran the mental hospital the DVD choked. Stupid people and their disk scratching ways.

I must see the rest of Slingblade or die!
