Danny Brown's new album "Atrocity Exhibition" comes out September 30th. One of the most interesting characters in rap Danny always seems bring something worth listening to. This album promises to be darker and possibly more ambitious than his last few. Long time collaborators like Paul White, Black Milk, Alchemist, and (surely) Skywlker are coming back for this. Earl Sweatshirt and Kendrick are on a track too so that should be something.

First terrific single/video from the album When It Rain.

Lastly because it's one of my favorite most quotable videos, Danny Brown Over/Under.

AOTY on the way. In the Rain is a phenomenal single and I hope this album goes darker and weirder. The fact it's releasing on Warp gives me hope for some dope electronic beats. I hope there's another Rustie collaboration.

I love When It Rain, I think it's one of his best songs period. I can't wait for the album, and hearing that he's working with so many great artists and producers has me even more hyped. I'm also going to see him this fall.

When it Rain and Pneumonia are both fire, Danny's best so far for sure!

Can't wait, king of the rap game right now.

This is sounding streets ahead from where Old left off. Definitely feels like something that should be coming from the Warp label.

Love how he's embracing the Warp sound on the singles and not regular EDM turnup like in "Old". It has that XXX feel.

Phew, them Schoolboy Q backing vocals, Evian going off with that beat, and Danny doing his thing over them. I'm praying Atrocity Exhibition doesn't let me down, because the two singles so far have been fucking fantastic.

This guy frustrates me. I love a couple of his guest spots from a few years back, but I tried a couple of his albums and they strayed pretty heavily into wack territory i thought. Dudes great over some grimey hip hop beats, but not sure about the the quasi-electronic-experimental sound thing that he seems to go for.

Either way will, likely give it a try

I keep waiting for Q to drop bars on Pneumonia but I get nothing :cryingemoji:

One of those three people is going to be on chorus duty, and my guess would be Earl Sweatshirt.

that would be stupid. maybe ab soul. all he's good for is a chorus now.

The second half of Old hasn't aged well, If you trim the fat it could be a damn near classic in my book.

Side A could arguably be called the best album of the year it came out. Side B has some fun stuff but it's a load of shit, and kinda sounded instantly dated too.

Preordered the limited edition vinyl version of this, can't fucking wait. And this is coming from someone that has over 1000 techno/house vinyls, and only like 5 rap/hip-hop vinyls...
