Dark Souls 3 Pre-Load on Steam is online

Anyone know this?

I got a key from GMG as a gift for a friend. He's currently on vacation and unreachable so I don't want him to randomly buy it for himself before he gets back. Is there a way for me to get it on his steam account, or at least send it as a gift if I have the key? Or do I have to wait for him to put it in himself

I'm hoping the same since my specs are similar... Else, screw it, I'm going 720p, no AA. I'm using a TV and a 360 pad after all. From comfy couch distance it shouldn't be as horrible. Later on I can replay it in its maximum expression.

Can't believe I managed to dodge most of the spoilers and I actually only saw some glimpses because of one of the damn trailers on Steam. It has been quite the challenge to go full blind/media blackout on this!
 
What are the odds of DS3 becoming playable a bit earlier. Right now it's set to release at 12 o'clock midnight, and I've got work tomorrow. :(
 
Can someone please tell me when it is going to available on PSN EST time? I'm seeing conflicting reports all over the place.

I'd be mad. I'm purposely staying way late at my work space because I know I won't be able to play Dark Souls tonight anyway.

You actually need to wait three days to get the full data for the first day. And then consider that the volume of sales will continue to be high for a week or two so the steamspy figure is always three days behind by a large margin.
 
Just bought a key, preloading now. Can't contain the excitement!!


I kinda hope for an early release tonight, because 12AM is too late for me today.

Turns out it has already been used!

I'm hoping that they made a mistake and copy/pasted twice the same CD key to two different guys. I'm waiting for support to contact me.

Got my cdkeys code and pre-loading as we speak :))

Too bad that with my shitty Internet I'll not be able to play it until tomorrow after work
(downloading at 700kb/s living in central London, what a joke).

Tomorrow is gonna be a long day.

edit: OR I could go to bed now and wake up tomorrow at 5 or something. Think I'll do that
 
Didn't check the release time and excitedly skipped home from work today looking forward to some dark souls action. Then to my horror, I saw that the 11th release date was actually a big fat lie! Grumble grumble, false advertising grumble. Until this time tomorrow then!

I find InputMapper with exclusive mode enabled works really nice for me in both wired and Bluetooth, whereas I was having latency issues with ds4windows

Also, got both mine and my bros keys from cdkeys without issues. The second was originally PayPal checkout but I contacted support to attach it to a cdkeys account on the same email, they did so in 15 minutes so it's always an option.
 
Wow almost only 2 hours left, and still havn't recieved anything from CDkeys.
I know next time where i wont buy my cdkeys from.

Have you logged in to your account and hit get code on the screen?

Also I don't know what some of you expect. The game isn't even out yet and you are bitching.
 
Heh. The website I bought my CD key on claims that Namco sent them a wrong batch of keys. They are aware of the problem, and I should recieve a valid one tomorrow.

Well, I'll be stuck at work anyway, won't change much for me. I just hope that my key tomorrow will be valid.

EDIT: Well, look at that. Just got an e-mail with a valid code. Dark Souls 3 activated.
 
Preload (slowly) begun. Very pleased with cdkeys other than that it would have been nice to have the key earlier so I could've played right at launch (atrocious download speed). Still can't complain.
