So how would a 960 perform? Would the high settings (instead of max) give me the boost i need for 60fps? Frankly, i don't see a difference visually. The GTX 770 is 5-10% faster.
Well, i guess i will find out...

Wow, here I was worried that my GTX 960 wouldn't be able to run it at 60fps. Guess I'm good to go.GTX 770 enough for 60fps in highest settings
This and No Man's Sky are the only new releases I'm looking forwards to where I'm worried about how my 660m is going to perform. I'm hoping to build a beefier computer later this year, but for now I'm just hoping my ASUS Rog hangs in there. It hasn't really let me down so far.

Thanks! This is exactly the reassurance I was fishing for.R280X shouldn't even be a question when comparing it to the PS4 version. As they mentioned in the video. A GTX 760 is enough for 40-45fps in max. settings. The R280X is above the 760X so with a little bit of tweaking it is 1080p/60fps on PC. Not talking about other benefits here (free multiplayer with a big playerbase, mods, etc.)
It was when the 960 was released, but in new games the 960 is usually as fast or slightly faster.
I don't think you'll need to turn down much of anything, if this report is reliable.
That chromatic aberration though.
Low/Medium sound like a very low standard. I'm sure you should be able to go higher. My processor clocks in at 3.1GHz and I have a 2Gb 960. I reckon after driver optimisation and dropping settings down to medium/low I'll be able to hit the relatively stable 60fps mark.
I haven't had to run any recent games at 720p, so I'd be surprised if I have to compromise that much for a Souls game. Usually I can do 1080p, high textures and no anti-aliasing or FXAA and get decent results.Well, perhaps you can shoot for 30fps at 720p with low settings, save for Textures at medium since you have 2GB VRAM. 60fps is almost entirely out of the question.
Sort of curious, are you planning for any release for Dark Souls III like DSFix or GeDo profile that will implement similar style improvements as you did with DSII? Stuff like the improved AO, high quality bloom, improved DoF, etc.
Reshade will do all since this is a DX11 game.
I just learned that this game wasn't releasing on PC until April 12.
Fuck.
You could always pre-order on Steam and refund it if it doesn't match your expectations.
Here's hoping the game runs well with my 7870, I'm kinda hoping for 1080p/60fps at any settings, but will settle for 1600x900/60fps or just a 30fps lock.
Really it's not? Damn I'm not sure 60 fps is worth the wait... But it probably is.
Are there any good guides for downsampling and when/if you should do it?

I believe only the console versions are being released this week in Japan. The PC version is set for April 12th everywhere.4/12/16 is the release date for everyone outside of Japan
I got a gtx 680... think it can run at a good fps/gfx?
A 770 is just an overclocked 680, so you should be good at 1080/60.

Google done me dirty. On mobile it just says March 24. I had my weekend all planned out.4/12/16 is the release date for everyone outside of Japan

My Warframe buddies will be pleased.
I have no clue about specs, so I just have to ask:
i5 4460 @ 3,2 ghz
8 gb RAM
GTX 960 oc
should have a better performance than a PS4, right?
