Answer to spoiler tagged question which is something that occurs after ringing the two bells:
Feeding Frampt allows you to "sell" items for souls. Personally, I do not think the amount of souls you get for the items are worth it in almost any case and I've never actually done it as a result. Afterall, souls are plentiful but unique items are not. If you feed Frampt Slabs, Chunks or Large Shards, Frampt breaks them down into smaller items (e.g. Feed titanite slabs, receive titanite chunks). Normal shards can then be fed for souls (I'm almost certain of this but not 100% simply because I've never actually used it so I'm only vaguely recalling what I've read in the past).
i like getting rid of junk so i can have a nice organized bottomless box, i.e. i don't like having 5+ of the same weapon/armour in my storage. the souls i get is just a bonus.
This is the boss two areas after ringing both bells in case anybody else is unsure whether or not to highlight it.
The best tactic, if you have it, that I've found, is (regarding the weapon to use)
the Lightning Zweihander. This weapon's extremely powerful R2 attack will stun either enemy. Now, for your first play through you should kill Smough first and the second half of the fight will be very difficult with a Lightning Zweihander if you do this, because
(regarding the boss's resistance)
Ornestein is highly resistant to lightning weapons. It will still be possible of course, and this is the easiest way as far as I'm concerned because you can trap them in the stun animation, unable to attack, but if you're confident it may be faster to use another weapon.
Another thing you could try do before the battle (quite vague, spoils little)
Solaire before the battle if you are in human form
. That makes the fight easier.
At all times you should (general tactics)
have both in your sight at the same time. Smough is quite easy to dodge if you stay close (or at least, this is what I find) but Ornestein can be very, very difficult (and I would always recommend killing him second on your first playthrough). While there is two of them, go close to Smough and maneouver so that Ornestein is roughly behind him (in your view anyway) and hopefully you can go near a pillar too, so you've more seperating the extra boss from you.
.
Hope that helps, maybe somebody else can add to this.
I am looking for Sunbro. Last time I saw him was at Anor Londo. I unfortunately changed covenants to the Dragon and want back with him. Nobody seems to be available for summoning against Nito and it's pissing me off.

I've been finally going through Dark Souls and I've been loving it, even though I'm currently stuck at the hellhole known as Blighttown. Here's the problem regarding the boss for that area, how to get out of it and the optional area nearby:
When first going through the swamp in Blighttown, I didn't find the second bonfire inside the sewer. I found the giant tree instead and a player message there led me to find the entrance to The Great Hollow. So I went that way glad that Blighttown was over, desperately looking for a bonfire and thinking that it would lead to the second bell. It took me many, many tries, but I managed to get to the bottom of the tree and then to Ash Lake. I didn't manage to do that without being cursed by the frogs, though, and after the Depths I didn't have any items left to break the curse
When I saw the hydra in Ash Lake I immediatly thought that I wasn't supposed to fight that at that point, since Dark Souls is a cruel game, but not that much. Going through Blighttown almost depleted my suplies (arrows, firebombs, etc), I was now with just half of my life due to the curse and also unable to call for help. The bonfire at the entrance of Ash Lake led me to believe that I was right and I should just try to run away from the hydra and keep going my way.
After a few tries to find the best way to do it I managed to run from the hydra and get to the second bonfire in the area, right in the front of a dragon NPC. It was a dead end. I did some exploring in the tree a bit further back but there was nothing of note there. I thought that maybe I should offer the dragon scales to the dragon so that it would either open up a way for me to proceed or at least help kill the hydra somehow. I did that and nothing happened. I was lost and didn't know what to do.
At that point I did take a look at a Dark Souls wiki and found that the Ash Lake and The Great Hollow were optional areas and the second bell was actually back at Blighttown. I cursed myself a few times.
So fortunetely I managed to get back to the top of The Great Hollow in my first try and then proceeded to look for the bonfire in the swamp that I read that existed, but not where it was located. I found it and then proceeded to explore a bit more the water wheel part and then found Queelag's lair. I tried fighting her about 10 times and got my ass kicked. In my best try I managed to get her down to 3/4 of her life and no more than that.
The issue is that I'm cursed, so I'm at half-life. I'm also unable to turn human in order to call for help from other players and to kindle the bonfire to get 10 flasks from it. Also, I get poisoned every time at the last stretch of the swamp before Queelag's lair, even though I'm wearing full poison-resist gear. I'm really fucked, basically.
The plan I have in mind now is to try to use water wheel escape and get back to the surface in order to remove the curse from me, grab lots of anti-poison and then go back the same way to Blighttown to fight the bitch. Is this a sound plan? Do I have a chance going back that way? Or do you guys think I should try to fight Queelag some more?

That's a decent enough plan, along with what they said above. You could also try helping some other people, then you'll have the benefit of experience and seeing how others do things. If you beat her with others you'll get humanity to reverse your own hollowing, which is recommended if you're having trouble. Plus, the souls you get can be used for levelling, which always helps.
