Only people that play VS anymore just wreck the shit out of scrubs all day until they quit.
Further perpetuating the dead game status of VS.
All the more reason to aim to get better at the game >=3
Why not focus on playing against GAF members for now to get better?
How is Raptor high tier, he seems to have some trouble with some matchups (Airdashers)

High mobility, high damage, strong air normals, unblockable attack from resets. Its mostly his unblockable though that puts him above Sasquatch.
People are hungry for those rank points right now man. There is a very entertaining fight for top ranks going on right now.
If it is proving to be a problem try sticking to player matches.

What unblockble? Sasquatch feels like a KOF character to me, with his dash being a hyperhop.

How active is the online? Especially in Europe.
Thats how it was with HDR, 3S:OE, every release of Tekken, Guilty Gear, etc.
You should stick with it. I think you'd be surprised how good you will become when your done being beaten up.
Why does everyone always declare all fighting games DOA for the online part? Is this some FGC meme or something?I don't see this game keeping much of its community.
The game was absolutely inaccessible on GGPO. Players were willing to help but it would have taken years to beat someone.
I think this release brings that down a notch and allows everyone to learn the game without too much negative reinforcement.
Absolutely quoted for truth. I was dominated regularly by everyone in the GGPO room. There were newer players in that room and then there were pros with seemingly no bridge between the two.

It's still relatively easy to find new players on ranked. Just set to find players of same level in matchmaking options.

That said, with my performance online, playing those really good players probably helped my game in ways that I just couldn't gauge back then. Because of the stiff competition I made it a point to learn how to pushblock and guard cancel effectively and now playing randoms in Resurrection I feel like I'm the one that has to take it easy on the new faces, almost never use Sasquatch in the player matches.
The Japanese site got updated with bios of Dark Talbain, Oboro Bishamon and Shadow. (It's really too bad that they didn't get any new artwork, those characters especially are in need of some. They have practically zero official portraits.)
Their placement on the site, plus the giant empty space on the Character Move List menu in-game are leading me to believe even more that the arrange characters will be coming eventually to Darkstalkers 3.
Because folks drop off on fighting games, especially if they're believed to me executionally hard.
Then as the scrubs die off, folks who aren't committed to the game will get frustrated by losing too much and will quit.
It takes a bit of dedication is all. Players there were practically falling over themselves to help me out when I started like 2 years ago. Once I figured out how to simulate a training mode with cheats and used Shoultzula's tech hit tutorial I was in there. Don't ever expect to beat Dyne115 if you run into him though LMAO.The game was absolutely inaccessible on GGPO. Players were willing to help but it would have taken years to beat someone.

Just PM some gaffers, guy. I think you'll have some fun if you get in contact with the right people. These dedicated VSav players will probably do the same to most people in DSIV. Honestly, learning VSav helped me become an all around better player in almost all fighting games that aren't SFIV.I think I'll just wait until/if DS4 ever gets made so we all end up semi-equal footing and go back to playing games I know until then.
No, but you are allowed to yell at Capcom for making the gaps between the swords too large and for the move's active frames keeping Lei Lei in her super pose too long.I feel like I have a good understanding of how to play Hsien-ko. It's just that the pressure from the top tier is just overwhelming.
Am I allowed to yell at 90's Capcom for not giving Chireitou invincibility? >:-|

No joke, a good Morrigan player named SGW literally walked past three of my Chireitou swords and grabbed me like 5-7 weeks ago. It was like the perfect coincidence and even he must have been surprised by that.
If I had to label her weaknesses they would be these things. Chireitou swords leave too large a gap/keep her in super pose too long, her horizontal item toss isn't full screen/does not dizzy at all/has a lot of active frames and she has no reliable AA to fall back on versus characters like Q.Bee. Other stuff like low health being low or her gongs not having a stronger hitbox is really insignificant stuff.

Capcom was giving out codes on twitter but the questions seemed unfair. XBOX: What monster does Victor resemble? What kind of creature is talbain? PS3: How many characters are in Vsav minus 1 also how many ex moves does morrigan have?
Man I'm already gaming on an old CRT as is, I don't need extra scanlines on top of thatEDIT: Who else is playing this game with Filters Off+Scanlines? =P
Sorry about those terrible games, vocab.
was playing Savior on normal speed.
You can appreciate that sweet animation even more. Alot of effect/detail is lost when playing on turbo.
Of course it's slow as hell, haha. Back to turbo..
Normal mode is so much easier to follow visually.was playing Savior on normal speed.

That's not a bad thing. (I loathe turbo on SF2 as well.)But boring as hell. Is like watching SF2.

That session really made me realize how terrible I am at this game. How the fuck do you get out of that Hsien-Ko corner pressure? It seemed impossible to get out of there unless you let me. Mashing dp simply leads to me taking more damage into another knockdown and Demitri's AA normals pretty much suck against the angle Hsien comes at you with except st. LP, but you need to be so specific with your timing because it's barely active.
The only thing I can suggest is rolling out and successfully defending the mixup.
