Hey everyone! Our team identified a handful of issues that occurred in Patch 1.10 and we decided to push out hotfixes to resolve those issues.
Patch 1.11
Progression Issues
General Fixes
- Resolved an issue related to PlayGo where the main menu screen was not showing any selectable options
- During “Lines Not Crossed”, the NPC assisting you will function as intended
- The job “Didn't Want To Join Up?” should progress properly
- The new “Dead Don’t Ride” bike decal can now be equipped at select mechanic merchants
- The HUD should now appear when hitting R3 when starting a new game in Survival Difficulty
- When at low health, the screen effect should appear correctly in Survival Difficulty
- Updated the text for the Survival Difficulty Mode start-up screen
- Corrected an issue where the trophy “Don’t Stop Me Now” was rewarded prior to completing the requirements
- The "Executioner" skill should function properly against Breakers
Our current plan for our team is to slow down the amount of patches we release but to add more fixes, features, and optimizations with each patch.
We will continue to review your feedback in the comment section, and please submit any bugs you encounter in this thread. Patch 1.11 should be available within the hour to download.
The next update we do is planned to bring in our first free DLC challenge! You can read more about it on the PlayStation Blog.
So I kept reading about this sawmill horde and how hard it was so I was hesitant to have a go at it. I decided fuck it lets do this and then
I show up and set some rad elaborate traps and shit. I get shit going and while running away from the horde that was overwhelming me I ran up the hill and onto the the bridge nearby. As I did that they all became passive and started shuffling back to the sawmill.
Cue 15 minutes of me cheesing the fuck out of that horde by running down to get them to chase me, reach bridge so they go passive and then attack.
No fucks given
You can easily cheese many large hordes with the following trick:
1. Hide in bushes near horde.
2. Throw in an attractor to get a bunch of them to swarm it.
3. Throw a grenade, pipe bomb or molotov on the swarm.
4. repeat until you run out of stuff.
5. Kill the remaining using run and gun.

Ok, well....I tried this out and it has now completely eliminated any tension involved with destroying hordes. All that's left is the annoyance of finding the hordes and finding the supplies needed to hide in a bush and cheese the hell out of said hordes.

The post-credits scene suggests that a sequel is possible.
Jumped on the Walmart 20 dollar pricing error and been playing it. I am e jiying the game and my son has been loving just watch me play. Ppl said it started off slow but its had good pacing imo. Ima jump back in later
I am so much on the fence with this game. Played and finished A Plagues Tale and Soma after each other and I really want to play another game with a good story and some action but dont know if i should buy it.
I still haven’t finished this
This thread has convinced me to get it. Alot of you seem to really enjoy it. It was $32 with GCU at Best Buy. It felt like a good price point for me.
Yeah. That way makes it very easy and takes out the thrill factor. I only suggest that way to anyone who is struggling to do it in the normal run and gun and use the environment way.
I've just started a second playthrough. I doubt I'll play through the whole game again, but I wanted to hang out in the world a little more, and I didn't feel like churning through hordes. So, new game.
The first playthrough took me about 6 weeks. I probably spent about 50 hours on it, maybe more.
Anyhow, I'm about 2 or 3 hours into my second run through. Early game is tough.
Anyone else doing a second playthrough?
I’m about 18 hours into my second playthrough (played on normal first time, this time on survival).
As to an earlier post, I’d be shocked if we don’t get a sequel and I can’t wait to see what they do with next gen hardware.
Still pretty early on, but this is one of my favorite Sony exclusives. The reviews were wrong. Very happy I decided to pick it up.

It’s kinda funny how the pitchforks and torches crowd disappeared pretty quickly after release. At first they were joyous over reviews being “SO BAD” (when they aren’t, they are perfectly average/fine) and also seemingly obsessed with its exclusivity. Of course then slinking back in the bushes like Homer Simpson when so many GAFers professed their enjoyment of this title.
Flawed? Of course. But I’m close to 80 hours played thus far of mostly pure enjoyment, even with some minor gripes here and there.
It’s as solid an 8 as I’ve rated a game in years. This is my new standard bearer for games earning an 8 or above moving forward.
Also, those who enjoyed it do criticize it for things they didn't like or felt could be better. I really liked to see the community reaction to this game, it showed that there is a middle ground between awesome and terrible. It’s kinda funny how the pitchforks and torches crowd disappeared pretty quickly after release.
