I think some EU or eastern Euro guy was advertising he wanted to start up another like 6 servers and already was running 2, so maybe those got launched. The more the merrier as long as the main server can handle it.

Probably, but theyre working on it too so it can handle more traffic. And I'm pretty sure they have a say in what servers go up, so its not like people can just start up a dozen new servers without their OK and destroy the world.

If you get to the quadrant north west of NWAF there's actually a miniature village populated by zombie dwarfs. It's even based off the topographical map of the same village in China. Weird little easter egg for the devs to include, but worth a visit nonetheless.

It's over and isn't worth watching. They couldn't get a game to last more than a few minutes and spent most of the time trying to get on a server after everything got overloaded.

Was there any MP or co-op in STALKER? Never played it.

I think it'd be possible to do such things in the STALKER engine if the networking framework existed.

I haven't either, supposedly there was, but not co-op. Just TDM/DM I'm assuming? I simply prefer the mechanics of the game/the look/the potentials of role-playing in the STALKER universe.

I get where you're coming from. Don't forget that this mod is still in alpha, however. It's more of a proof of concept right now than a real game. It'll add mod-specific features and establish its own visual identity if it receives some sort of funding, I'm sure.

On UK1, I stalked some kiddies from the shadows of the night; they were trying to fix a helicopter in Elektro for 2 hours. Got some good gear going through those houses.

I rarely shoot zombies now, I just take my time and sneak by.

But just now, after I was already running away from Elektro because shit got hot, a bandit got me. GG bandit. Have fun with that loot.

Cherno wasn't to bad for me last night, went to the apartment blocks seen a friendly in trouble helped him out, found myself an Alice bag crap load of food, a revolver with plenty of ammo, ammo for my Winchester, a map, compass, hunting knife and a watch. Then decided to go to electro, wandered to a power plant there killed a zombie which was a bad mistake because all the other zombies glitched through the walls of the building I was in and died
