As a historian I must add, this is also not an accurate portrayal of a Greek warrior. It works for movies and games, but the reality was different. That is a lot of very expensive equipment and the regular soldier at the front was nowhere as well-armed. That btw. was one of the biggest immersion breakers for me in Kingdom Come Deliverance, for example, regular soldiers wearing way too expensive armor.

The Assasin's Creed series is always rough if you look at it too close and from a "professional" view. There are a lot of mistakes in there, but it is a game, it should entertain. They are historical fantasy games.
