Wonder Woman seems to be at 141 min runtime.
That's a long movie. I like that.

Glad they don't have her saying "SWORD!" or something.
Damn they got EW on their reactionary behavior
why go blackout yourself when WB is doing it for you 😏These tv spots hyped me enough.
It's time to go on a black out now, just need some Injustice 2 to keep me busy.

This is predominantly a gaming forum and MvC is one of the most popular fighting gaming franchises ever. That's the only reason Injustice is the underdog. The first Injustice had a decent fighting game community but it never got huge and it didn't last.
2h21m isn't really that long tho141 min?
I know during the ABC games a trailer played, but not a full on TV SpotThose tv spots are hype. They need to air during the NBA playoffs.
It is for a WW solo.2h21m isn't really that long tho
141 min?
I love the runtime, very Dark Knight-ish. which might mean the story is not as cookie cutter as it seems.
I love my long super hero epics.
JL = 7 samurai. Makes sense.4-hour JL boi, u better believe it
Time to shave a good 30 minutes off this behemoth.
WB: Patty, your movie's way too long you need to CUT IT.
Dat costume. Still amazed it works so well. Wilkinson da gawd. Except for the flash, what the hell Michael.
I think the costume should get some straps and perhaps shoulder armor, just for practicality, running on a strapless leather corset doesn't seem comfortable, I want to bet there were many, ehm, wardrobe malfunctions on set.
If true this is easily half an hour too long.
What's the problem?
Ian the reason Supergirl had to change networks is that CBS or whatever couldn't afford the production cost?
What's the problem with basing marketing decisions for a Wonder Woman movie on a Supergirl TV show that had to switch networks just to get picked up for a second season?
I...seriously?
Why is it ok that DC suddenly decided to play coy with marketing for Wonder Woman? This not the movie to reign the promotion budget in with. Especially after Suicide Squad. It shouldn't be on pace to make as much as a Doctor Strange movie on opening weekend.
I think we're grossly overestimating how profitable this movie could be. Doctor Strange numbers and final gross would be very good.

Barring some sort of unforeseen miracle, Wonder Woman isn't going to make Suicide Squad money no matter how good it is. It's the DCEU's smallest affair thus far, and will be marketed accordingly.Guys. It's a TV show. Not a summer blockbuster sandwiched between other blockbusters. You don't suddenly switch marketing tactics when you promoted the hell out of your other movies and made bank off of them despite them having poor word of mouth.
If this movie is actually good, and they bothered to promote it, they sky would be the limit. I'm just disappointed they're not backing Wonder Woman the same way they did their other heroes, especially since she was generally thought of as the best part of a movie audiences were pretty divided about.

When all is said and done, I think anything north of $600M should be considered a win.
I think comic fans are biased and think she is capable of Superman numbers, without remembering that she just doesn't have the mainstream appeal yet. This is her first? big movie premiere. Shit needs time to grow.
Seems like WB is really focusing on the female audience and assuming males will show up regardless. So many toys and stuff, they really want the little girls. Hard to say how popular WW is among kids since I dont have any.
Them having to switch networks has nothing to do with the marketing. The show started off with good numbers.
Do you really think they didnt spend hundreds of hours and millions of dollars into research of how to market this movie?
We live in a strange time where movies are expected to do an obscene amount of money. 85$million is really fucking good. Dr. Strange did well because of the MCU brand and Cumberbatch, plus the visuals. WW has none of that.
And don't forget they have over a month left. Wait.
Well, yeah, Xena's is a GOAT costume.I agree with the shoulder armor part, and I also think the tunic/skirt could be a little longer. Not necessarily because I think her legs need to be more covered up, mostly because I think it'd just look better.
Basically just make it like Xena's costume:
She's an icon, but not very popular at the moment. All the exposure from the DCEU will improve her status with time. She's Wonder Woman. She's one of like 4 super heroes in existence that everybody knows, regardless of their exposure to movies or comics. Only Batman, Superman, and Spider-Man boast a more iconic status. I don't understand ignoring this reality.
until i see some statistics, i doubt this is true at all (unfortunately)She's Wonder Woman. this is somewhat reasonableElsa is more popular than Wonder Woman right now, I'm afraid.

So was marvel final fight and contest of championsI know it doesn't "count" the same but Injustice was/is huge on mobile, why it continued to get support long after the console versions.
And believe 2 is dropping on mobile as well.
I'm loving all the dialogue in Injustice 2. Instead of one line catch phrases, they actually have conversations before the start of the fight. Like when I heard
Batman: I don't have time for this, Damian.
Damian: A good father would make time.
Batman: A better son would deserve it.
I said daaaaaaaaaamn.
She's an icon, but not very popular at the moment. All the exposure from the DCEU will improve her status with time.
I'll ask a question, what superheroine movie could they pull data from?
And Supergirl's launch was highly successful. Bought in over 12 million viewers for the pilot.
I don't see what's wrong with taking lessons from that.
