I bet WB is incredibly proud at how they managed to keep so much about this movie/universe secret that all these shitty sites are eager to run the most blatant bullshit.

After all of the complaints about Batman's voice in TDK and TDKR they sure as hell aren't going with a voice modulator.

So....we all know this is bullshit right? I mean you wouldn't have Ted Kord over Batman in a JL film and the voice modulator idea was from Kevin Smith Fatman on Batman Podcast.

All of this smells horrible.

Once I read "failed experiment" on Hobbit, I knew it was fake. BOF is wonky when it comes to their facts and sources, sometimes they are good other times its hopes and dreams.

they believe that script is “TOO GOOD”

Hahahahahahaha. Good one.

Avengers had a runtime of 143 and 30 minutes of deleted scenes. We're talking over half an hour on top of that. Movie is long.

Do you know how editing even works? Not everything they shoot are released as "deleted scenes". Assembly and reconstruction is a huge part of editing and it is iterative.

well not really...yet

You have to remember, there is more than even that.

Scene extensions, transitions, seconds here, seconds there, trimming scenes here and there, that along with scenes taken out wholesale can add up pretty fast.

Yea, Avengers did, sure. We're talking the scope of all movies. Not just comic book ones. You can't tell how long a movie is going to run exactly (credits included) until you slap it altogether and see what you got.

I'm fully aware. A film is largely made in the editing room. The film was always going to be at the 2.5 hour mark. However the question is whether it's closer to the 3 mark. The whole post gives the worry that the plot is way too complex.

Well it's also likely all a steaming pile of bullshit. Lol. Snyder being over indulgent and making a long movie, I can totally believe. But nothing in this set of rumors seem very credible. Having a DC "Cinematic Multiverse" sounds stupid as hell too.

You really loved Argo, I take it.

(I liked the movie myself, just think it's odd that so many people see Terrio writing BvS as some kind of slam dunk for the script)

I wasn't that fond of Argo but I liked it enough. That said, I could see some suits losing their minds off a decent superhero story compared to the dogshit Goyer puts out.

A DC multiverse is a terrible idea but I can sadly see them doing it. A big part of DC comics is multiverse shit (yes I know Marvel does it too) so I could see WB doing it to stand out from Marvel.

A DC multiverse on screen would be cool to see just for something like Bale vs. Affleck Batman alone, but is something I highly doubt is ever happening.

GL should suit up when on serious business. Keep that Domino mask only in private situations. I can imagine a mask kind of akin to certain renditions of sub zero or scorpion from mortal combat. I also like Alex Ross' armored look from an older GL.

If they insert magic (Temyschyra, Shazam) multiverse is the only explanation. I mean this rumor might be mostly wishes and conjectures, but he might be onto something.

and what's interesting about Stewart? he's the least interesting of them all. only time Stewart was a decent character was in the 1970s and when he was crippled. you got four Human Lanterns to choose from. Jordan is the flagship and is going to remain that way.

Remember that when people talk about the John Stewart Green Lantern, they are more often then not talking about the one from the cartoons, where he was an interesting and likable character. Plus, you know, he's a black superhero that a decent number of people are familiar with, and if that part of this rumor is true, then he lost his chance at a lead role.

I know this whole post smells of bullshit, but that to me stuck out as the sort of thinking you would actually find at a big studio

lol

I would happily watch a 4 hour Justice League movie. I'm not even kidding.

You're in luck then! Though it comes with a 1.5-year intermission...

they did even less with him in JLA and JLU. none of his architectural constructs, none of his past about how he became Hal's back-up and why. there really wasn't much to work with there. but his episodes with Wally were very good. all four (six if you count Alan Scott and Simon Baz) have very deep and meaty backgrounds that you can do a lot with.

plus, Stewart has ever headlined only one book and was last on TV more than ten years ago. Hal and Guy have a longer history plus Hal is the main guy right now.

Honestly, the only part of this rumor I want to be true is the one of a director's cut of MoS.

But the proposed "Director's Cut" in this bullshit rumor includes doing an ANIMATED SHORT that they'd just glue to the front of the movie.

The rumor also suggest the budget for that animation would come from refusing a 3D conversion.

No way Warners gives up spending the 10-20 mil to do the conversion KNOWING they're going to get minimum 40-50 mil in extra box-office revenue due to the 3D prices being 3-4 bucks higher per ticket, JUST so Zack Snyder can put a 30 minute animated film at the beginning of a blu-ray only cut of Man of Steel.

The whole thing is dumb as fuck.

What's with the shitty writing? Anywho, sounds too awful to be believable. So much unnecessary Snyder pandering. It's possible the whole project has been one big clusterfuck but this fake leak isn't on point.

They say the Green Lantern's mask is impractical because it doesn't hide one's identity, yet we already have the classic Clark Kent/Superman glasses situation.
