You know what's sad is this is all they could do given an entirely new hardware generation.

Meanwhile go back and compare the leap from DOA1 SS to DOA1 PS, or DOA2 DC to PS2. Same generation ports, way bigger difference.

I find the COD games wrong on many levels, I would never dream of playing one at least willfully.
 
It looks like they cleaned up the polygonal edges really nice. You can see on Tina's tits that there's hardly any edges to be seen.

That was disapointing.

i was actually expecting a video comparing soft body simulation and physics. Since the DOA games are some sort of benchmark for measuring advances in rendering between generations.

Most say this is the less evolutionary port job between generations i ' ve seen for the series. Not much difference that i could see. Sad, really since the extra GPU capacity could be perfect for runing physical based animations for cloths and hair.

Uh, huh? The series has not changed since DOA2 in terms of design. Infact DOA5 is the biggest shakeup so far since 1. On the Xbox version of DOA2 it looks really nice, but not really a shake up in look so much as a refinement.
 
I think all "next-gen" fighting games so far have been disappointing in that regard. These should be perfect showcases for full cloth and hair physics on the characters.

That has more to do with budgets of the development houses i think, lower aspirations for technology than games intent on showing off their technical might.

I don't think its impossible to expect with these consoles, but its not really a priority. That being said, Hayashi has said that their next game will be pushed to next gen standards, so let's wait on that.

People comparing this port which is clearly just an upport with very small additions to FF15 which is a full next gen project are confusing me. Even if it was a new gen project instead of a port, is that kind of money effort and time what you expect from an infinitely smaller project that doesn't have 500 people at a time working on it? Get some perspective!

The models of FF15 are about 100,000 each with highly advanced shaders on top. Comparing that to DOA5 which is about 16,000 with the absolute highest polygonal character(Ayane) and last gen shader tech applied its obviously not going to look anywhere near as good.

DOA5 keeps delivering goods. Good combat system and fan service. (Now bring back Level Design from DOA2 and 3)
This is why I love them. They have both, matter of fact since last gen both have been done quite well.

I just hope this sells great too so we see that bitch Itagaki complain more about "His daughter" man gets too much respect for things that he lucked into. Yes Ninja Gaiden black was great, it was the third revision and the man then made Ninja Gaiden 2. :P

I'm pretty sure Itagaki is crying tears of blood right now. In NG3RE, we have Kasumi as a playable character dicing people into little bloody chunks, when he specifically said years ago that she could never kill anyone except Raido, cause she's too pure hearted to be an on duty Ninja.

It not offend me. But I find offensive for the women. I'm not sure what you try to defend here. What's the point to downplay the role of the woman reduce them in a simple sexual toy? It's a thing I never understood about Tecmo.

Given that online is a few weeks behind should tell everybody what to think about the pc version's priority to Team Ninja. Margin running sadly. You gotta make this bitch sell.

Probably the the TVs have different settings but you can see the PS4 version looks more clean than the PS3 version and the textures look better overall.

It's not a sure thing since stuff like Assassin's Creed Rogue is getting a PC port but not 8th Gen console port AFAIK. Which means the PC port will be based on the seventh/PS360 version.

An game called Black Desert that's coming in 2016 has muscle mass / butt physics and that's an MMO of all things.
