That third pic looks like zombie Fight Club. The graphics and settings look awesome but the videos of gameplay I've seen don't look too hot. :(

Wow, that looks a "LOT" better than it did at E3. Really impressive looking and seems like it could be a blast.

look good, but I'm getting tired of these "we have a lot of characters on screen at once" games. Like this to me seems like 99 Knights, but with zombies. The story better be good and there better be more monsters than just zombies.

I hope there's a chainsaw somewhere in that mall. :)
Lawnmower > Chainsaw.

"Ive read the comics! I know there's only one way to deal with these things- full body dismemberment!"

(badly paraphrased.)

I just watched the original Dawn of the Dead for the first time last night. I instantly thought of this game, and i cannot fucking wait for it.

Its light hearted and dark at the same time. Day one purchase i think

I think the game looks awesome. But I'm really worried about the whole 100 enemies on screen at once. I would really love to see it happen in a lot of games, but I can't really see it working when the game appears to be using 5 character models. It will honestly take away from the fun of the game if I'm killing the exact same zombie every 5th time.
I know it's a lot of work to make everyone look different but I think it's a huge deal.

What would be fucking AWESOME is if they release the pictures with only these select few zombies, and on release day totally fucking suprise everyone with many zombie models.

yeah, it looks MUCH better

it went from this

to this

in 4 months.

gameplay vids made it look boring as hell, but i am pretty sure it was the player's fault
Btw, there's a new gameplay vid up Chez Blimblim i haven't seen linked yet
Here
haven't watched it myself

Yeah this looks like its going to be a blast to play. Any word on online co-op? This game screams for it.

No online against or with other players at all :( There will be a score ranking and photo competition though. This was all in the Gamespot interview movie.

Woah, wait, wait, stop the bus. Cut. Time out.

When did this game start looking so cool?

Jesus, don't make me but a 360, don't. I was happy not buying it until I saw this.

this could be THE reason to own 360. Whos with me!??

Gyaarr!

The main character looks cool in a grizzled fashion; the game itself has gotten smooth. Hot damn, it just made the top of my Xbox 360 list. :)

I wonder what gameplay will be like. I hope they have some excellent stuff like you have to secure the mall, find out how to get into the gun store, secure a spot to hang out. Random crazy events happening, like you spot people outside and help them or let them become food. You should need to get food for energy, which means taking dangerous trips through the mall. I can't freaking wait.

I hated on this game a little but I'm eating some crow here when I say it looks 10 times better.

The power of the beta kits cannot be denied :p.

The first 20 hours of gameplay should be in clearing the mall and making it a base of sorts, the next 15 can be for exploring the surroundings outside of the mall, while getting closer to the source of the zombie outbreak.

Seriously Dead Rising is one of the games that has shown the most improvement going from Apha to Beta. I'm interested in it quite a bit now.

The new lighting does a world of good for this game. Some other devs should take notice. It takes that grocery store picture from "meh" to looking just pseudo-realistic enough to be exciting.
