[Debunked] Inserting a MIG Switch cartridge in the Switch 2 brick the console

They are charging $80 for their flagship title. They aren't about to lose sales to pirates anytime soon...maybe eventually, one day.

AKA probably FUD

Looks like was already tested.
A few individuals played around with pre release hard and software probing known exploits from the switch 1...
That means absolutely nothing except that Nintendo is aware of the errors they made the last time.
If they make it to year 2 without full blown homebrew I'll start believing that they actually got better.

I'd wager Nintendo fine combed any potential hack after nvidia's fuckup on OV switch .

I really doubt it'll be fast this time

This is damn hilarious considering Mig has been talking about the fact it's been guaranteed and tested on Switch 2 LMFAO

I'm convinced Nintendo has implemented a ton of measures to prevent the next Zelda from being fully playable on an emulator 2 weeks before launch.

But some of these things sound strange. Consoles bricking due to minuscule voltage changes? Surely there's more than just hacking that could cause something like that. Sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Nintendo is wise to start these rumors with viral marketers. Probably more effective than actually trying to figure out how to outsmart the galaxy brained console modders. Just scare the general public away from doing it.
