Yup and honestly I haven't even noticed the FOV. Course it never bothered me in Halo either when they lowered it in later games. Guess I'm lucky like that.

Performance I assume. More stuff on screen when it´s super wide.

It depends on your culling and lod techniques some, but FOV changes are generally a pretty minor hit.
Yeah the FOV is fairly small and I didn't really like it at first but I guess I got used to it. I wouldn't mind one bit if they upped it though. It can make it hard to keep track of enemies because they can so easily get out of your sight, especially when trying to maneuver around a building or something.
Another bug I keep having is that friends will appear on my PSN friends list as in Destiny, but they don't appear on my in-game friends list, making it harder to get together.

I'm loving this game so far. I'm only level 5. Only complaint I have is that I would like to have just a liiitle bit higher FOV.

in all fairness, there is no mention in the OP regarding this. i found the answer in the FAQ linked, but its probably worth extracting and addng to your post.

lol it literally doesn't affect performance in any way, atleast 65 fov to 85 doesn't

For some reason, when I become aware that FOV is a problem for other players, I get really bad motion sickness. It's like a negative placebo effect.

Yeah, from Strike video I've seen in Youtube, Legend difficulty really means business.
1. Yes and with stats, etc, weapons in the same class can feel different from each other. imo.
2. PvE I don't think so. PvP I wouldn't know, haven't tried any yet.

Sigh... I prefer to solo dungeons, or even just to attempt them solo, even if i won't get rewarded due to being overleveled, having to gather people to do them is annoying, and finding players who are good enough even more so.
(Doubly so for a console game, as i really dislike voice chat with randoms. Text chat is makes random people bearable)
EDIT actually... damn it. I forgot i want challenging but not frustrating FPS. Overleveling removes the challenge part for sure. What a dilemma.
Can you point me to proof where they've stated this? I'd really appreciate it.

Yeah I'm a little disappointed with the codes. For being this "awesome freebie" all it was is access to something everyone else who put in 10 seconds of effort would get as well. I mean I know they can't do too much, but something like an extra day of the alpha or something would have been nice.
